13 Celebrities Who Got Dumped In The Most Heartbreaking Ways

No matter how long celebrity couples have been together, it seems like relationships in Hollywood never last. While many stars try to end relationships amicably, there have been times when things took a turn for the ugly from the get-go.

Some celebrities tried to make things impersonal by avoiding the breakup conversation with their significant others, and instead broke the news via text, voicemail and even on television.

Here are 13 celebrities who got dumped in the most cold and heartbreaking ways:

1. Minnie Driver and Matt Damon

digitalspy

It might be a good idea to tell the person you were dating that you no longer want a relationship before telling it to the rest of the world, but that’s not how it went down between Minnie Driver and her Good Will Hunting co-star Matt Damon.

Damon publicly announced that he was single during an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, and that’s how Driver learned that they were over.

“It’s unfortunate that Matt went on Oprah; it seemed like a good forum for him to announce to the world that we were no longer together, which I found fantastically inappropriate,” Driver told the Los Angeles Times in 1998.

2. Mary-Louise Parker and Billy Crudup

Daily Mail

The Weeds actress was seven months pregnant with her first child when her boyfriend of seven years, actor Billy Crudup, walked out on her out of the blue in 2003. He left her for fellow actress Claire Danes, who was 24 at the time.

“I am alone. Look, see? I am pregnant and alone. It hurts to even breathe,” Parker wrote in her memoir Dear Mr. You.

Parker gave birth to a son, William, a few months later in 2004, and has raised him as a single mother ever since.

3. Eva Longoria and Tony Parker

Hello Magazine

The Desperate Housewives star found hundreds of text messages between her husband, Tony Parker, and his NBA teammate’s wife. That’s how she came to learn that he no longer wanted to be with her, which eventually led her to file for divorce.

Longoria admitted in an interview with Piers Morgan that the split was “heartbreaking,” then added: “I had such an identity in being Mrs Parker and when that’s taken away from you it’s hard.”

Natalie Wood’s Daughter Opens Up About Her Late Mother And The Emotional Impact Of Her Death

It’s been over three decades since the iconic Natalie Wood mysteriously vanished from a yacht that was making its way to Santa Catalina Island.

At the time of her disappearance, Natalie was with her husband Robert Wagner, and co-star Christopher Walken. Both men were suspects in the case, but investigators later ruled her death as accidental drowning, after her body washed up a day later.

Due to the bizarre nature of the case, people were not convinced that the 43-year-old star’s death was an accident. The cold case was reopened in 2011, and the coroner’s ruling was changed to “drowning and other undetermined factors.”

Earlier this year, Robert once again became a person of interest in the case. After all, he was the last person to see her alive and they had a row that fateful night.

“I haven’t seen him tell the details that match all the other witnesses in this case,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lieutenant John Corina told 48 Hours. “I think he’s constantly changed his story a little bit. And his version of events just don’t add up.”

The Sun

While the public has been focused on getting answers about Natalie’s suspicious death, they may have forgotten that she left behind two children, daughters Natasha Gregson Wagner and Courtney Brooke Wagner, and her death took a toll on them more than anyone else.

Like Robert, Natasha and Courtney don’t talk about their mother’s death a whole lot, but Natasha did give a rare interview with the New York Times in 2016 and it has recently resurfaced.

Natasha, whose father is Richard Gregson, the film producer Natalie married briefly, opened up about her mother’s untimely death during the emotional sit down.

Anna Nicole Smith’s Mother “Heartbroken” Over Granddaughter Dannielynn

Anna Nicole Smith was a troubled, beautiful, influential star. She was most well-known for her Playboy and Guess modelling gigs, and later had her own reality show. Smith rose to fame when she married 89-year-old oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II. The starlet was just 26 at the time.

This wasn’t her first marriage, however. At just 17 years old, the young teen married Billy Smith and gave birth to their son, Daniel. Anna and Daniel were extremely close, and they were both excited to welcome Anna’s second child on September 7th, 2006. Dannielynn was welcomed into a loving family.

Immediately, there was controversy surrounding the identity of the new baby’s father. Anna’s ex-boyfriend, Larry Birkhead claimed paternity. Anna stated that her attorney, Howard K. Stern, was Dannielynn’s father. He was the one listed on her birth certificate, and he and Anna  held a private “commitment ceremony” which was not legally binding.

During the controversy of Dannielynn’s paternity, Anna was struck with tragedy.

On September 10th, 2006, Daniel died of an apparent drug overdose at only 20 years old. Anna was inconsolable, and while she was grieving she was caught in a media frenzy surrounding the identity of her newborn baby’s father.

On February 8, 2007, Anna Nicole Smith was found dead in her hotel room. The cause of death was announced as an accidental overdose, as Anna was on nine different types of medication at the time. Smith’s death only heightened the search for Dannielynn’s father, as that person would be taking full custody of the child.

In April 2007, it was determined that photographer Larry Birkhead was indeed Dannielynn’s father. Howard K. Stern did not contest the findings, and legal custody was given to Birkhead. Birkhead, who makes a living through photography and occasionally real estate, took on the role of full-time dad with open arms, and chose to keep Dannielynn’s life out of the spotlight. The occasional picture surfaces, but for the most part it’s all private.

But according to Anna Nicole Smith’s side of the family, it’s more private than they’d like.

Medium Claims Michael Jackson Spoke To Him Beyond The Grave And Shares His “Bizarre” Experience

I loved Michael’s Jackson’s music, and if there’s one thing we can all agree on about the King of Pop it is that he revolutionized the music industry. No one will ever be able to top what he did, at least not in this generation, but sadly, both in life and death, the entertainer has been a figure of controversy.

When he was alive, he was plagued with speculation about his family, appearance, and child abuse allegations. Michael was eventually acquitted of the charges, but just as he was about to make a comeback, he died.

Ever since the 50-year-old artist was found unresponsive in his home on June 25, 2009, there’s been a ton of theories surrounding the circumstances of his demise.

Happenings.com.ng

According to the official autopsy results, he died of a cardiac arrest brought on by an acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication. His death was ruled a homicide and his physician, Conrad Murray, was eventually charged with involuntary manslaughter.

His family members, including sister LaToya, believed that Michael was murdered and as expected, they were relieved to see that justice was served. She opened up about the ordeal while appearing on CNN’s Piers Morgan Live back in 2011, but it seems like she hasn’t been able to come to terms with the loss of her brother.

According to E! News, LaToya hired professional medium Tyler Henry, so she would be able to communicate with Michael and find out what really happened on that fateful day.

“It was really emotional and I’m so thankful that LaToya did it,” Tyler said. “I was really honored.”

In a recent interview with the publication, Tyler, who is also the star of Hollywood Medium with Tyler, shared his experience during the reading.

Classic Film Star Gina Lollobrigida Remembers What Hollywood Was Really Like In Tell-All Interview

After we lost so many brilliant stars last year, it’s nice to remember the icons from the past who are still here to celebrate.

At 90 years young, the talented actress Gina Lollobrigida is still with us, and sharing new, exciting stories about her experiences in Hollywood’s “Golden Age.”

Lollobrigida, known to her fans simply as “La Lollo,” is one of the few actresses who made the jump from stardom in Italy to success here in America. She had leading parts in hit films like Come September, starring Rock Hudson, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame

That was thanks to Howard Hughes, the billionaire tycoon and film director who, according to the actress herself, was a little obsessed with Lollobrigida.

“It was he who brought me to America,” she said in a new interview about her career, “but I don’t care about money. I care about my work and the ability to express myself. He wanted to marry me and he didn’t stop courting me for 12 years. “

“I think he was in love with me,” she remembers, “because I was different from the other stars.”

And those differences made her a hit with American audiences, who often ranked her among Hollywood’s most beautiful actresses.

Even her thick Italian accent turned out to be an asset in her acting career, as her costar Humphrey Bogart once told the actress.

“Don’t study so much English!” he warned. “If you lose your accent, it will be a pity.”

Of course, she still has it decades later, as the star remembers intimate details about life – and her love life – among Hollywood’s biggest names.

And that includes personal details about Marilyn Monroe and Jackie Kennedy Onassis.

Gene Kelly Was A Star During The Golden Age Of Hollywood But He Harbored Some Dark Secrets

When you think about Gene Kelly, you think of one of the stars during the golden age of Hollywood, of both the stage and screen. Men wanted to be him, women wanted to be with him, and that perception really helped cement his legacy in the annals of Hollywood lore.

Banana Oil – WordPress.com

A recent biography, He’s Got Rhythm, has shed some light on who the man was beyond the bright lights of the red carpet. According to the book, not only was Kelly a star, but he also had a huge ego, and an even more massive temper.

The book was written with the help of interviews with Kelly’s family and close friends. The authors, Cynthia and Sara Brideson, were also able to some how dig up previously unpublished sources. It has made for a very interesting and enlightening read.

Amazon.com

But what evidence did the authors manage to find that would prove that the allegations of his anger and ego were true? One of Kelly’s former co-stars gave an interesting anecdote about what it was like to work with him. “Cyd Charisse claimed that her husband always knew when she had been dancing with Gene Kelly if she came home with bruises and with Fred Astaire if she came home unmarked,” say the authors.

But was it just his anger and his ego that Kelly was hiding? Not according to the book.

Hollywood Actors Who Managed To Stay On The A-List Even After Massive Scandals

In the wake of the numerous scandals that have hit Hollywood like a ton of bricks over the past several months, is almost impossible to believe that any of the people accused of numerous indiscretions could manage to hold a career afterwards. However, as we’ve seen over the years (and in this video), a brush with scandal, no matter how disastrous, doesn’t mean that their careers are over, as some celebs have managed to remain in the spotlight even after falling from grace.

Jimmy Kimmel Shaken Up After Wrong Turn Leads To A Head-On Collision

The late night talk show host is usually a pro at making segues on his show, however things took a turn for the worse when the TV personality made an error in judgement that nearly cost someone their life.

Jimmy Kimmel was set to host the Academy Awards this March, but now this could be in jeopardy as he finds himself seemingly at fault for a head-on collision on the famous Los Angeles highway.

Police officials and firefighters were on the scene to examine the damage and determine how the accident could have occurred.

Kimmel was driving in his BMW when witnesses say he attempted to make a left hand turn onto the Sunset Strip, however the exit was “right turn only” in this case.

While the host is usually very active on his Twitter account, he has made no mention of the accident that left his car in a mangled heap.

TMZ released footage of a frantic Kimmel making calls with the victim of the crash as police arrive on the scene.

Actor Confirms Mel Gibson’s ‘Passion Of The Christ’ Sequel Is Finally Being Made

More than 14 years after the original film proved to be a box office smash, it looks like Mel Gibson is finally ready to make a sequel to The Passion of the Christ.

Made for just $30 million and with no big Hollywood stars in leading roles, Gibson’s film took the world by storm in 2004. It earned over $611 million worldwide, making it the highest-grossing R-rated film in North America at the time.

Icon Productions

To this day, the movie is still the highest-grossing non-English language film ever made.

Audiences and church groups packed into theaters to watch Gibson’s take on the final 12 hours before Jesus’s crucifixion. Now, it seems like Gibson is ready to pick up where he left off.

Last year,  the actor and director hinted that he was ” trying to craft” the story of Jesus’s resurrection “in a way that’s cinematically compelling and enlightening,” but he also admitted the process seemed “never-ending.”

Now, the original film’s star, Jim Caviezel, says the project is moving ahead. And he’s shared new details about what fans should expect from The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection.

Nicole Kidman’s Important Speech About Ageism Is Something Everyone Should Hear

In case you haven’t noticed yet, women all over the world have had enough of the sexism, harassment, and gender bias that’s prevalent in our societies.

Those who are lucky enough to have a platform to speak out, like the women in Hollywood, have been coming clean about the experiences they’ve had to endure throughout their careers.

Jessica ChastainNY Magazine

Some of the world’s biggest female celebrities, including Meryl Streep, Oprah, Debra Messing, Reese Witherspoon, and Jessica Chastain, have opened up about receiving less pay than their male co-stars, not being properly recognized for their achievements, and being victims of sexual harassment and abuse.

Time’s Up, a movement against sexual harassment originally founded in 2006, has since resurfaced to draw attention to these issues. Celebrities showed support for Time’s Up by showing up to the Golden Globes Awards clad in black outfits, and by donating money to a legal defense fund to support lower income women seeking justice for harassment and assault in the workplace.

However, while everyone is caught up with Time’s Up and the #MeToo movements, there is another important issue that is equally as important but has not been getting enough attention: ageism.

At the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG), which took place on January 21, actress Nicole Kidman shone a light on this topic, and used her acceptance speech to draw attention to the fact that the entertainment industry is finally recognizing and celebrating women over 40 by telling their stories.

Kidman couldn’t help but tear up as she delivered a powerful speech that needed to be heard.

Cary Grant’s Wife And Daughter Reveal What Tore Their Family Apart

Cary Grant is the kind of Hollywood actor whose classic movies seem destined to stick around forever.

While he passed away in 1986, Grant’s movies like North by Northwest and To Catch a Thief still thrill audiences around the world. But, behind the scenes, the actor’s life wasn’t as glamorous as you might expect. He famously joked that “everyone wants to be Cary Grant. Even I want to be Cary Grant.”

Wikimedia

We’ve shared stories about Grant’s difficult childhood in England, where the actor assumed he had been abandoned by his mother as a boy. Grant didn’t realize until much he was an adult that she had actually been institutionalized by his father.

Even as a Hollywood star, Grant’s private life made headlines. He was a notorious womanizer, and known to experiment with psychedelic drugs like LSD.

As Grant’s fourth wife actress Dyan Cannon and his daughter Jennifer reveal in their tell-all books, those qualities helped drive Grant and Cannon to divorce.

Cannon and Grant.Who’s Dated Who

Cannon, who was only 28 when she married the 61-year-old Grant, says she and the movie star “had a great romance in the beginning – loving and fun, a fairy tale in parts – but then he started to change me.”

“My hair, my clothes, my bags, my shoes, he even told me not to act – although I’d wanted to be an actress ever since I was a little girl – and I went along with it all.”

But Grant’s daughter Jennifer says there’s more to the story.

15 Facts Only Marilyn Monroe’s Biggest Fans Will Know

More than 50 years after her tragic death, everything about Marilyn Monroe’s life continues to fascinate her fans.

From her starring roles to her iconic fashion choices, everything about the star’s short life is totally memorable. But unless you’re one of Monroe’s biggest fans, you’ll learn something new about her from this list.

1. Her real name was Norma Jean Baker

While she became a glamorous movie star, Monroe’s early life was anything but charmed. She never knew her father, and her mother was institutionalized. Monroe bounced through 11 sets of foster parents, and married at age 16 to avoid being sent back to an orphanage.

Her big break came when she was working in a munitions factory. She was spotted by a photographer the Army’s motion picture unit and asked to star in a photo shoot for them. The rest is history.

2. She wore the most valuable dress over sold

The dress Monroe wore while famously wishing President Kennedy “Happy Birthday” was just as impressive as her singing. The actress had to be sewn into the skin-tight outfit, which was covered in 2,500 glittering rhinestones.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EqolSvoWNck?feature=oembed]

The dress sold for $4.8 million, making it the most valuable piece of clothing ever sold. Monroe actually broke her own record, beating the price for her iconic white dress from The Seven Year Itch.

3. She lived with a hidden illness

Monroe was pregnant twice, but never gave birth. Unbeknownst to her fans, she was living with endometriosis, a painful condition that caused the uterine lining to develop outside the uterus.

The actress and her husband Arthur Miller had two unsuccessful pregnancies. The Marilyn Monroe Collection

Monroe suffered from both a miscarriage and an ectopic pregnancy which had to be terminated because of the disease.

4. She made less than her makeup artist while filming Niagara

Pamono

The thriller was one of Monroe’s first big parts, but she was still under contract with 20th Century Fox as a stock actor, meaning she was paid the low wages of an extra or bit part actress. Reportedly, her salary for the film actually came in lower than her makeup artist’s.

Talk about being undervalued.

5. She had plastic surgery, but it wasn’t her idea

Celebrity Plastic Surgery

One of Monroe’s early agents, Johnny Hyde, decided the actress needed cosmetic surgery to get an edge over her competition. He definitely paid to have her jaw re-shaped, but many believe the actress also had a nose job.

6. She helped kick-start Ella Fitzgerald’s career

Monroe with Ella FitzgeraldImmortal Marilyn

The jazz legend has this to say about Monroe’s impact on her early career, when many nightclubs still refused to hire a black singer:

I owe Marilyn Monroe a real debt…it was because of her that I played the Mocambo, a very popular nightclub in the ’50s. She personally called the owner of the Mocambo, and told him she wanted me booked immediately, and if he would do it, she would take a front table every night. She told him — and it was true, due to Marilyn’s superstar status — that the press would go wild. The owner said yes, and Marilyn was there, front table, every night. The press went overboard. After that, I never had to play a small jazz club again. She was an unusual woman — a little ahead of her times. And she didn’t know it.

7. Her most famous scene lead to one of her divorces

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIh6HDeXKGY?feature=oembed]

The scene of Monroe enjoying the breeze in The Seven Year Itch is one of Hollywood’s most famous movie scenes, but it caused a big rift between the actress and her then-husband Joe DiMaggio.

The scene was filmed in front of a crowd of extras who whistled and laughed, which upset DiMaggio. The couple got into a fight which turned serious, and Marilyn filed for divorce on the grounds of “intolerable cruelty” soon after.

Ironically, the scene had to be re-shot anyways because of all the noise the extras were making. But this time it was taped on a closed set.

Illness Didn’t Stop These Powerful Women From Showing Their Support At The Golden Globes

While many famous faces walked the red carpet on Sunday wearing gorgeous gowns and suits, there were a few celebrities that were missing in the crowd.

Many members of the Hollywood elite were wearing all black at the awards show on Sunday night in a statement about sexual harassment in the industry.

Actresses including Eva Longoria, Tracee Ellis Ross, Emma Stone, Meryl Streep and Kerry Washington showed up in a coordinated wardrobe to support the Time’s Up movement during the banquet.

The Time’s Up movement was started by Meryl Streep, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and Shonda Rhimes who each donated $500,000, while Taylor Swift and Oprah Winfrey added $100,000 to the pot each. Natalie Portman, Emma Stone, Jessica Chastain and Cate Blanchett each contributed $50,000 to the money raised to help lower-income women and men pursue their cases to help fight sexual harassment.

“Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund will provide subsidized legal support to women and men who have experienced sexual harassment, assault, or abuse in the workplace and while in pursuit of their careers,” reads a statement on the donation’s page.

These prominent actresses took their message to the red carpet where they all dressed in the same color, black.

And they were all smiles while they did it.

And it wasn’t just women that were supporting the cause.

But a few famous faces were forced to stay home on the big night.

Burt Reynolds Says Costar Sally Field Was “The One That Got Away”

When Burt Reynolds and Sally Field shared the screen in 1977’s Smokey and the Bandit, audiences fell in love. But so did the film’s stars.

In the 1970s, both Reynolds and Field were at the height of their acting careers, but were also nursing their hearts after a pair of disastrous marriages in the 1960s. Field, now a single mother of two children, felt a connection to her costar right away.

Universal Pictures

“Burt was the most important influence that came into my life other than my children at the time,” she later said about the actor, who went on to star in four more films with her.

While the pair never tied the knot, they were a Hollywood power couple for five years, and it’s clear that even decades later the relationship meant a lot to both of them.

“Burt was the most important thing that ever happened in my life,” Field remembers. “He rescued my career and literally put me to work, he literally gave me a new lease on life.”

National Enquirer

As for Reynolds, he gushed about his relationship with Field during the tour for his autobiography But Enough About Me in 2015. “I think we would have been very happy,” he said about spending the rest of his life with Field.

“If anybody asks about that period of my life, it was a wonderful time. I was — and still am — very proud of her.”

So what came between these two lovebirds if their relationship was so strong they still cherish it 40 years later? That’s just another twist in their unique Hollywood love story.

Matt Damon Is Trying To Avoid Spoiling His Kids In Spite Of His Fame

When you’re a familiar face in Hollywood, it can bring a lot of perks. From special treatment at restaurants to free deliveries to their home, they come across a lot of free stuff.

Well those perks don’t apply to Matt Damon who is currently raising 19-year-old Alexia, 11-year-old Isabella, 9-year-old Gia, and 7-year-old Stella, with his wife Luciana Barroso.

When boxes of stuff arrive at the Damon household, the kids don’t even bother opening them.

“They don’t need anything. So we send everything on to people who need it,” he tells TODAY Parents. “When people send stuff to my kids, my kids have everything they need so we pass it right on. This is the life we’re giving them. It’s hard to figure out how to try to give them perspective. It’s a source of tension in the family at times.”

Today

Like any parents, Matt and Lucy want to give their daughters everything, but they want to raise them so that they don’t expect everything to be handed to them.

“What’s the answer? You want your kid to have everything,” he muses.

8 Disgusting On-Set Kisses That Had Hollywood Reaching For A Breath Mint

Have you ever dreamed of getting a steamy kiss from your Hollywood crush? I would assume that most people have that one person that they would drop everything for, just for a chance at that small amount of physical intimacy. Have you ever been jealous of that actor or actress that got a little on-screen smooch from your crush? You might not feel that way after reading this piece, if your crush happens to be on it.

Here are 8 awful kissing scenes as described by the actors themselves.

Brad Pitt has been deemed one of the sexiest men in Hollywood for a long time. Women (and some men) had swooned over him, wondering what it would be like to get a kiss from him. According to Kirsten Dunst, who kissed the actor when she was 11 years old, “it was disgusting.”

“I thought it was disgusting. It was like – I was eleven. It would have been weird if I was like ‘this is amazing, I’m kissing Brad Pitt.’ Like then I think people would think I was a little bit off.”

nerdemcasa.com.br

Jennifer Lawrence broke onto the Hollywood scene with her portrayal of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games, and she quickly became one of Hollywood’s hottest stars. But apparently her kissing scenes are somewhat dreaded by her co-stars. Josh Hutcherson said that her kisses were “slobbery,” and Liam Hemsworth said that anytime they had a kissing scene lined up, Lawrence would intentionally eat something like garlic or tuna for some reason.

buzz.blog.ajc.com

It turns out that Julia Roberts is a huge fan of peanut butter sandwiches, a fact that made kissing her unpleasant, according to costar Clive Owen. Owen said that doing any intimate scenes with Roberts was quite difficult because she loved to mow down on peanut butter sandwiches in between takes. It wasn’t all bad though, Roberts knew Owen well enough that she actually warned him, and would even ask for a breath mint.

whatsontv.co.uk

There are a lot of “fad” diets and herbal nutritional supplements out there on the market, and some of them tend to have some interesting side effects. It turns out that Shailene Woodley is a big fan of a certain Chinese herbal supplement that according to Miles Teller, made Woodley’s breath smell like “crap.”

“She would take these herbal supplements, these Chinese herbal supplements, and they tasted like crap. And she would always eat them right before we had a kissing scene! We put stuff in our mouths so we could just offend each other,” said Teller.

I hope your dream kiss hasn’t been ruined yet, but there are still four more examples left to go.

7 Big Screen Santa’s Who Made Christmas Just A little Bit More Magical

One of my favorite aspects of the holiday season is when the marathon of Christmas movies dominates my television for the weeks leading up to December 25. I of course have my favorites, but the ones that really get you into the Christmas spirit include a rendition of the man in red. Without Old St. Nick, a Christmas movie just isn’t as good as it could be.

Many actors have stepped up to the challenge. Some have prevailed while others have failed miserably. These 7 guys put their own spin on Santa Claus, and I loved each one of their performances.

These are the 7 best movie Santa Claus portrayals of all time.

Hate him or love him, Tim Allen played one of the funniest versions of Father Christmas. As Allen’s character went through the change of body and mind to become the epitome of the Christmas season, it left you with a feeling of joy, and you were guaranteed to break out into laughter every few minutes. This movie should be a must watch on your Christmas movie list, even if the sequels left much to be desired.

GQ

I don’t know about you, but a badass Santa covered in tattoos is just what the Christmas season was in need of. Baldwin voices Santa as the leader of the Guardians as they attempt to recruit Jack Frost to their cause while fighting off the Boogey Man. He even wields a pretty impressive sword throughout the movie’s fight scenes.

Notes to remember – WordPress.com

This classic children’s movie has been around for decades, and Stan Francis voiced this iconic Christmas character. The movie was originally made for television, but it somehow managed to survive and ingrain itself in pop culture history. It was a different take on Santa, as he outwardly shamed Rudolph’s parents for giving birth to a child who was different from everyone else. In the end Santa saw the error of his ways, and the rest is history.

Entertainment Tonight

You couldn’t have picked a better actor to play Santa, as long as Santa was a booze drinking, cigarette smoking asshole who seemingly hated children. “Santa” ended up coming through on the right side of the moral spectrum towards the end of the movie as he helped out a single young boy who needed it. It’s the thought that counts right?

Barbara Streisand Reveals How She Kept Her Marriage Strong After Over 20 Years

The sad truth is that our favorite Hollywood couples seem to split up after just a few months together, so it’s always refreshing to read about a pair that have stood the test of time.

Singer Barbra Streisand’s marriage to actor James Brolin is one of those rare Hollywood romances that has lasted for more than two decades, which is no small feat. As Streisand says herself, “20 years in Hollywood is like 50 years in Chicago.”

The happy couple in 1998.The Pinsta

And their love story’s longevity isn’t the only thing that sets them apart. Streisand and Brolin also met each other when they were both in their 50s. And they were both looking for a fresh start after their earlier failed marriages.

Streisand, who had been singing and performing since she was a teenager, had been married to actor Elliot Gould for eight years after meeting him on Broadway. And James Brolin, who often played the romantic lead in his movies, was actually unlucky in love, with two divorces under his belt by the time he met Streisand.
