Barack and Michelle Obama In Talks For Several Netflix TV Shows

Stop the presses, because America’s favorite former president and first lady are in talks for their own Netflix program.

Barack is speculated to either appear as either the moderator, producer or both of several high-profile shows.

A source familiar to the discussions described the potential series as a “production partnership,” but said the deal has yet to be finalized.

Under the proposed deal, Netflix would pay the distinguished couple for exclusive content, which has the potential to be seen by more than 118 of its subscribers across the world.

According to The New York Times, if this partnership takes off, most of the details will still have to be hash out.

“The number of episodes and the formats for the shows have not been decided,” the publication wrote. However, the newspaper did have the details on two potential shows.

“Mr. Obama could moderate conversations on topics that dominated his presidency,” while another series “could feature Mrs. Obama on topics, like nutrition, that she championed in the White House.”

But what prompted the Obamas to join the entertainment industry?

Michelle Obama Finally Reveals What Was In The Gift Box She Gave Melania Trump

Former first lady Michelle Obama recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for her first television interview since her husband’s presidency ended in 2016.

Michelle opened up about a number of things that have occurred since she left the White House, including the awkward gift exchange moment she shared with Melania Trump on the morning of President Donald Trump’s 2017 swear-in ceremony.

In case you forgot, during the event, Melania presented the outgoing first lady with a Tiffany & Co. box. Although the gesture was nice, it was unexpected, considering how structured the event was, so the moments that followed were very awkward.

“You brought a gift!” the first lady said to Melania at the time. “I’ll take care of the protocol here,” chimed in former President Barack Obama.

As everyone else was preparing for a group photo, Michelle had no idea what to do with the box, and her reaction quickly got turned into one of most memorable memes of that year.

Now, Michelle, 54, has finally revealed what really going through her mind at the time and what was inside the box.

Michelle Obama Shares Her Famous Apple Cobbler Recipe And It’ll Make Your Mouth Water

Michelle Obama may no longer be the First Lady of the United States, but she’s still making headlines for her work as a philanthropist and advocate for social issues like children’s health and gender equality.

However, when she’s not busy delivering speeches and attending fundraisers, she’s in her kitchen cooking up a storm. Her best dish? Apple Cobbler.

Over the years, the former FLOTUS has perfected her recipe for the classic dessert, which was first shared in Yankee Magazine.

“I’ve been making this cobbler for a long time, so I usually just eyeball how much needs to go in,” said Obama. “People might want more or less sugar, but this is how our family and friends like it. This recipe makes one cobbler, which is like a double pie.”

Although the final result differs slightly from the traditional cobbler, which usually has a biscuit topping, this recipe is delicious enough to disguise itself as one.

The recipe calls for sliced Granny Smith apples tossed in a mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. If you’re already thinking of whipping this dessert up, keep in mind that Obama recommends letting the seasoned apples sit in the fridge overnight so the spices can get into the fruit.

The rest of the recipe requires a little bit of patience because it involves a few layers, but once you make it past that step, you’re golden.

Grab your apron, mixing bowls and rolling pin and get started on the recipe.
