They say you can’t relive your childhood, but that didn’t stop these families from trying their best. Thankfully for the rest of us, they shared the “before and after” photos of them recreating the best shots from their family albums.
Maybe these pictures will give your own family some ideas. Your pictures couldn’t be any weirder than these ones.
1. They grow up so fast
2. Nothing to see here, just a couple of t-rexes
3. Can’t fit in there anymore
4. That doesn’t look comfy
5. Both of these photos need an explanation
6. That’s a big baby
7. Graduation day… take two
8. Still a messy eater after all these years

Check out the bottom right corner of the photo…they nailed this one.
While we learn about the Holocaust and the horrors of the Nazi regime as schoolchildren, it’s hard to truly understand the Third Reich’s evil quest to create a “master race.”
These photos from the time period offer a glimpse into the disturbing realities of life under Adolf Hitler’s regime.
Warning: Some of the photos in this story are disturbing.
1. The rubble of WW1
During the chaos of the first World War, Germany lost as much as 4% of its population, or 2.8 million people. As the country came to grips with its new reality, the Treaty of Versailles that ended the war had a devastating effect on the country’s economy
As inflation and unemployment surged, Germans looked for a scapegoat for the country’s humiliating loss. Conspiracy theories about Jews, and racist pseudosciences gained popularity.
2. The origin of an evil idea
Ideas about the superiority of one race over another were already popular throughout Europe. Many believed in fake sciences like phrenology – studying skull shapes – which claimed to reveal a person’s racial background.
Writers like the French novelist Arthur de Gobineau used the name “Aryans” to mean a race of Germans who they argued were superior to all other races. German writers quickly took hold of the idea, including Adolf Hitler in his book Mein Kampf.
Remember the scene in The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh when Pooh Bear gets himself stuck in the door to Rabbit’s house, and he’s there for so long that Rabbit begins to decorate around him? That scene is endlessly funny to me, and I’ll bet I’m not alone.
Similarly, it seems like every day real-life people find new and interesting ways to get themselves stuck somewhere, and the results are often hilarious.
It all starts at a young age.
But some people just never grow up.
You definitely need to be careful with long dresses.
And maybe just wanna avoid doing anything stupid in general.
Trying to recapture your youth can have some drastic consequences.
Sometimes the animal kingdom gets in on the fun too.
In fact, cats are REALLY good at it.
Keep going for more ridiculous pictures of people getting stuck.
Do we get funnier as we get older? Probably, even if we don’t mean to be sometimes!
These seniors weren’t trying to make us laugh, but their hilarious mistakes, habits, and misunderstandings had us in stitches anyways.
1. You need to keep the Apple logo facing up

8. Congrats, he’s so cute!
9. Grandma made him a “party vest”
We have even more questionable gifts from grandma, in case you need a giggle.
10. Grandma sent “the slowest picture message ever” through the mail

If you’re not afraid to read creepy stories (like I am), you’ve probably already heard about the Dear David ghost haunting cartoonist Adam Ellis.
The artist, who draws comics for the website BuzzFeed, started sharing his real-life horror story months ago, revealing he had strange dreams about a ghost named “Dear David.”
“So, my apartment is currently being haunted by the ghost of a dead child and he’s trying to kill me,” Ellis wrote on Twitter.
He described Dear David as a misshapen child, who sits in a green rocking chair. Ellis suffers from sleep paralysis, which makes some patients see strange visions while their minds are trapped between waking and sleeping. That’s when Ellis described seeing Dear David.
The artist says Dear David wasn’t threatening at first, but another spirit in his dreams revealed the ghost would answer two questions, and kill anyone who asked a third.
When Ellis saw Dear David again, he asked, “Dear David, how did you die?” The spirit said a store shelf fell on his head. “Dear David, was it an accident?” No, the ghost replied, someone pushed the shelf over.
“Who pushed the shelf?” Ellis asked before he could catch himself. Since asking that third question, Ellis has reported lots of strange things happening in his apartment.
And now the artist is back with what he calls photographic proof of the spirit haunting him.
Every year, parents bring their kids to the mall to get their picture taken with Santa. They get the chance to finally ask for what they really want, and maybe justify some of those days where they didn’t exactly make the nice list.
The problem is that kids don’t seem to always love being handed to a stranger and being told to smile. I guess having a bearded man laugh a jolly “ho, ho, ho” in your face doesn’t seem to make everyone happy. Luckily, Santa is a pro and never seems to take it personally. You know what, it can be overwhelming to meet a celebrity, can you really blame these kids?
1. They might try to run and hide
2. Sometimes one gets upset and the other just doesn’t get what all the fuss is about
3. The face of pure joy
4. It looks as though Santa just told her she didn’t make the “Nice” list
5. Listen, he’s doing his best, but sometimes even Santa breaks down
6. “Mom, please, I swear I’ll eat the carrots if you save me!”
7. “He said a pony wouldn’t fit down the chimney!”
8. Even presents couldn’t save him…
These aren’t the only kids having a rough Christmas…
How many of us remember going to Santa as a kid to get our picture taken? If your parents were anything like mine, then you would find yourself dressed up in your Sunday best, told to be on your best behavior, and not to fight with your siblings.
Well, that tradition has been changing up lately, and one particular Santa is helping to make this a more fun activity to remember.
A mall Santa in Pennsylvania has gained a following over the years thanks to his unorthodox methods when posing for pictures.
Scott Diethorne, or Santa Scott, offers to take weird requests for people’s holiday photos. These have included holding pets, showing off his “Naughty” and “Nice” tattoos” inked along his forearms, and even flipping your kids upside down, and all for no extra cost.
Despite the joy that Santa Scott’s large fan base gets from his enthusiastic demonstrations, Cherry Hill Studios, the photo company working with the mall has asked him to “tone it down” this year.
And holiday shoppers have some thoughts on that.
There is nothing better than a picture that makes you look twice. Whether it’s just something that was taken at the perfect moment, a carefully planned sign, or a complete mistake, there are some things that are just too good to miss.
We’ve got the best illusions, slip ups and just generally hilarious pictures that will make you wonder how they managed to get the timing just so right.
1. This dog has its four eyes on you…
2. Parmesan flavor, check! Pizza flavor, check! Wait, what does that last one say?!
3. The headless basketball player is the new star center!
4. Talk about a bed hog…
5. It’s probably really hard for this guy to find hats right?
6. Take a quick look at the girl on the far right, interesting way to sit? No, it just looks like she’s sitting like that, her other leg is tucked behind
7. That awkward moment when you go to the zoo and are wearing the same outfit as the gorilla
8. Hang on a second, what are you trying to sell here?
9. It’s not what you think, look again
10. Where can I buy this teddy bear?
Those aren’t only illusions that you’ll have to look twice at!
If you regularly watch the nightly news, you know that it can be a bit dull. That’s why we’re grateful for people like Paul Yarrow.
He added some excitement and mystery to the evening news broadcast just by standing around. You see, back in 2009 Yarrow started popping up on the news every night. First he appeared in the background during an interview about a labor dispute, then he was standing behind a reporter at a protest.
Yarrow had a knack for realizing which events in London would be featured on the BBC’s 1 p.m. newscast – including fires, riots, protests and vigils – and showing up on scene just in time to be caught on camera. He sometimes made the news for days in a row, and almost always wore the same beige sweater.
Soon, Yarrow had his own fan following with in-jokes about the so-called “newsbomber.” They would shout “He’s behind you!” whenever Yarrow crept up on a reporter. They even learned to recognize his tricks, like pretending to be on the phone, or hiding behind a newspaper.
But who was this obsessed prankster, and why did he make a habit of sneaking onto the nightly news? His answer was pretty surprising.
Keep them for yourself or give them as a gift, these personalized candles will melt the hearts of anyone who sees them. A unique way to display your favorite pictures as a beautiful home decor for all your friends and family to see.
- pillar candles
- tissue paper
- printer paper
- wax paper
- Cut a piece of paper so that it sits slightly smaller on top of your printer paper.
- Turn your tissue paper over so that the shiny side is down, and tape all the edges flat down onto the printer paper.
- Next, put your tissue/printer paper in the printer so that when you print, your image will appear on the tissue.
- Now cut the image out, and take your imaged tissue to the side.
- Put the image across the middle of your candle, and then place a piece of wax paper over top to ensure the entire image is covered.
- Get your hairdryer, and turn it on. Point to the area of the photo and begin to heat up. The upper layer of candle wax is going to start melting together with the tissue paper. The picture should get darker.
- Once the picture has completely darkened, then you will want to slowly pull the wax paper off.

During his long career in Hollywood, photographer Milton H. Greene managed to capture all of the city’s biggest stars.
Greene shot movie stars like Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant, as well as musical icons like Frank Sinatra. But of all of his celebrity subjects, his photo shoots with Marilyn Monroe are the most famous. Not only because Monroe remains one of Hollywood’s biggest names, but also because she had a unique relationship with Greene.
Monroe met the photographer during a magazine photo shoot in 1953 and the pair became fast friends. They stayed close for years, and Greene even helped the actress escape her restrictive contract with 20th Century Fox. Greene co-founded Marilyn Monroe productions with the actress.
While Greene photographed Monroe multiple times for magazines and promotional art, he also had dozens of private photo shoots with Monroe. The actress would steal an outfit from her wardrobe department and pose for a few photos on the studio backlot between takes.
Now, a new book is collecting hundreds of Greene’s photos of Monroe, and the never-before-seen pictures are stunning…
Adopting and raising a rescue dog is one of the kindest things you can do, but it has its challenges.
No matter how much love you give them, your pet has formed impressions based on their past owners. That usually means they’re not as friendly as they would be if you raised them since they were a puppy. But the best owners find ways to overcome their pet’s mistreatment and welcome them into the family.
Elizabeth Spence had to get creative after adopting her English Pointer Nora. The 8-year-old dog started her life with abusive owners, and that left her “afraid of almost everything,” according to Spence. No one in her family could get Nora to relax and open up, until her son Archie was born.
Nora doesn’t seem to get anxious or afraid around Archie like she does with other humans. In fact, since she’s gotten to know her “baby brother,” this dog has slowly transformed, stepping out of her shell and really joining her new family.
And Spence’s photos of the pair show why Nora feels so happy: these two have an incredible bond…
It’s hard not to love animals. They are usually pretty adorable and for the most part are just trying to live their best life. We are basically just lucky that we get to interact with them on a regular basis.
Sometimes the things they do are not exactly expected. They get into trouble, they eat things they aren’t supposed to, and they make a big mess when we’d really rather they didn’t. The problem is that it’s impossible to be mad at them because when they do these things they give us the world’s most perfect looks.
Those guilt faces are enough to make you apologize to them even though they are the ones who did it wrong. Don’t believe me? Look at these pictures and see if you could yell at these faces.
