Psychic Channels Princess Diana On TV, Leaves Her Former Butler Dumbfounded

It’s been over twenty years since the beloved Princess Diana met a tragic end. The royal was travelling in a car in Paris when it crashed while trying to escape the prying paparazzi.

Her sudden death shocked the world, but as more details about the circumstances leading up to her demise emerged, many began to wonder if there was more to the situation than what we’re being told.

Some people are convinced that if the first responders had transported her to the hospital that fateful night of August 30, 1997 instead of spending an hour trying to resuscitate her at the scene, she could’ve been saved.

There was also the fact that the instead of coming to her aid, paparazzi continued to take photos of the former Princess of Wales even after the accident occurred.

“She’d had a quite severe head injury. She was very much still alive in the backseat, and those people that caused the accident, instead of helping, were taking photographs of her dying in the backseat,” said Diana’s youngest son, Prince Harry.

Although a lot of people, including Diana’s children, Princes William and Harry, are still haunted by the tragedy, many eventually came to accept that we may never know what really happened that night.

Diana’s memory and legacy continues to live through her family, as well as those who were close to her, like her butler, Paul Burrell.

Burrell has been described as “the only man Diana ever trusted,” and since her death, he has been sharing tidbits about what Diana’s life was like.

Over the years, he published a number of books, gave a handful of interviews, and appeared on various television shows.

During Burrell’s recent stint on the fourth season of the Australian version of the reality TV show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, the unexpected happened. Medium John Edward made a cameo on the show, and got into contact with Princess Diana in Burrell’s presence.

As one can expect, Edward couldn’t convince everyone, but Burrell was clearly taken aback by the medium’s revelations. There are some details about the late princess’s life that only those close to her knew, but Edward described them perfectly during the reading.

Paul Burrell

Halfway through the session, the clairvoyant began to describe small details from Princess Diana’s bedroom even though he has never set foot in there.

“I walk into a room, think all wood panels and books,” the medium said. “Piano over to one side. If I go into that room, [there’s] a small glass bird.”

“You are right,” Burrell said. He later explained that “he [Edward] could not have known about a glass Lalique in the Princess’s room, impossible.”

Things got even more intense when Edward revealed that Diana told him about a dream Burrell had in which she was wearing a “royal blue dress.” Shocked by the revelation, Burrell replied, “I do have a dream of me sitting alone with the Princess … and she is wearing a blue dress … I’ve never told anybody about that particular dream.”

But that’s not all the psychic medium had to say.

Kate Middleton Pays Subtle Tribute To Princess Diana During Royal Tour

Diana may have passed away over twenty years ago, but her sons, Princes William and Harry, and their significant others have been trying their best to keep her memory alive.

Hello Magazine

The brothers have both candidly spoken about how much they miss having their mother, who died in a car crash in Paris in 1997, around. It’s especially hard when they’re celebrating major milestones, like getting engagements, weddings, and starting a family.

Prince Harry opened up Diana’s absence on a number of occasions, and more recently, he talked about it during his first televised interview with his new fiance Meghan Markle.

“It is days like – days like today when – when I really miss having her around and miss being able to share the happy news. But you know with the ring and with everything else that’s going on I’m sure she’s with us…yeah.”

Evening Standard

Harry made sure that Diana was part of he and Meghan’s “crazy journey” by including diamonds from his mother’s jewelry collection in the engagement ring.

“I think everything about Harry’s thoughtfulness is – and the inclusion of that and obviously not being able to meet his mom it’s so important to me to – to know that she’s a part of this with us,” Meghan said.

William also previously revealed how much it hurts him to not have his mother beside him while his children are growing up.

“I would like to have had her advice,” Prince William, who was only 15 when he lost his mother, told GQ. “I would love her to have met Catherine and to have seen the children grow up. It makes me sad that she won’t, that they will never know her.”

When the royal couple got engaged back in 2010, William proposed with his mother’s 18-carat sapphire ring. Kate has since continued the tradition of honoring Diana every chance she gets.

More recently, she paid a subtle but sweet tribute to her late mother-in-law during her and William’s royal tour of Sweden.

Prince Harry Takes Meghan Markle To Visit Princess Diana’s Grave

Prince Harry has taken Meghan Markle to visit his beloved mother’s final resting place at her childhood home in Northants, England.

Princess Diana passed away on August 31, 1987 following a car accident in Paris, France. She was only 36 years old.

As expected, Prince Harry and his brother, Prince William, took their mother’s death particularly hard. Before her death, a young Harry had skipped a phone call with his mother in favor of playing outside, something he regrets to this day.

“And I had to live with that for the rest of my life, knowing that I was that 12-year-old boy wanting to get off the phone and wanting to go and run around and play games rather than speak to my mum,” Harry told the BBC.

William cited his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, as being a rock for himself and Harry during the difficult time, despite facing public backlash for staying at Balmoral with her grandsons.

“I think it was a very hard decision for my grandmother to make. She felt very torn between being a grandmother to William and Harry and her Queen role,” William said in the same interview.

According to the Daily Star, the prince and Markle went to Althorp estate this past November, so he could “speak” to Diana and get her blessing to propose to his now bride-to-be.

How Prince Charles’s Wedding Proposal To Diana Hinted At How Their Marriage Would Unfold

With the news of the next generation of royal weddings plaguing the media, some people are reminiscing on the nuptials between Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

They tied the knot on July 21, 1981 in front of millions of people around the world, which was dubbed a “fairy tale wedding.”

While the couple appeared to be the epitome of martial bliss while in the limelight, things were vastly different behind closed doors.

Their “love story” began after Diana met Charles in 1977, who at the time was dating her sister, Lady Sarah McCorquodale. The pair would begin dating in 1980, despite Charles still pursuing his current wife, Camilla Parker Bowles.

Following a quick courtship, Diana would give birth to two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, who were described as her pride and joy.

However, emerging details of a rift in the marriage became prevalent as their marriage progressed.

In an interview with BBC‘s Martin Bashir in 1995, the princess revealed several intimate details of her relationship with Charles, which included wedding doubts, depression, jealousy, and multiple affairs.

Eventually Queen Elizabeth II had enough and made an unprecedented move in 1995 when she formally ordered the unhappy couple to divorce.

But perhaps their struggling marriage could have been foreseen by the way Charles proposed.

Pregnant Kate Middleton Wasn’t Wearing Her Engagement Ring, Here’s Why

Kate Middleton was noticeably without her engagement ring when she visited the Great Ormond Street children’s hospital.

The large sapphire ring previously belonged to Prince William’s late mother, Princess Diana, so it holds a deep sentimental meaning for the couple. When William gave it to Kate in 2010, he said it was his way of making sure that his mother didn’t miss out on his wedding day.

The 12-carat oval blue sapphire is surrounded by 14 solitaire diamonds in an 18K white gold setting.

When Lady Diana and Prince Charles divorced, Diana returned the ring to her ex-husband and it was stored in Kensington Palace. After her death, Charles invited his two sons to choose mementos from her possessions. Prince Harry chose the sapphire ring, while William chose a gold Cartier watch. After William decided to propose to Kate, the brothers exchanged mementos, because Harry thought fondly of Kate and both princes wanted her to have their mother’s ring.

So why was she without it?

Princess Diana’s Hairstylist Shares The Story Behind Her Iconic Haircut

When you’re a member of the British royal family, there are certain aspects of your life that are, for the most part, out of your control. They’re expected to behave according to strict traditional rules that have been around for decades.

For instance, royal women are only permitted to wear natural nail polish colors when attending official events. This is why you never see Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge or Queen Elizabeth II wear bright-colored polish. In fact, the Queen has been wearing Essie’s Ballet Slippers shade since 1989, and according to the company, “it’s the only color Her Majesty would wear.”

Other aspects of their appearance, such as hairstyle, are also under constant watch, which is probably why you never see a royal with an unnatural hair color. Perhaps, this is the reason why everyone goes bananas whenever Kate switches up her hairdo.

However, she’s far from being the only royal who has opted for a drastic change. Her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, also chopped off her locks back in 1990, and caused quite the stir when she debuted her rebellious new look.

The people’s princess’s former hairstylist, Sam McKnight, recently penned a book titled Hair by Sam McKnight, and in one of the chapters, he reveals the real story behind Diana’s iconic short hair cut.

Princess Diana’s Astrologer Says Harry’s Romance With Meghan Was Written In The Stars

Whether or not you believe in fate, you have to admit there’s something magical about Prince Harry’s whirlwind romance with actress Meghan Markle.

The couple have been together for less than two years, but they already seem deeply in love, especially whenever they’re spotted out in public stuck together at the hip.

Celebrity astrologer Debbie Frank has her own explanation for the famous couple’s close bond: she says that Markle’s presence was already written into the prince’s future when he was just six years old.

We’ve already analysed the newest royal couple’s relationship based on their star signs, but the predictions weren’t so rosy.

Before the engagement was announced, astrologer Susan Miller warned that their conflicting signs – Harry is a Virgo, Markle is a Leo – could cause friction. Not only is the actress an American, but she’s also one of the only Fire signs in a family of mainly Earth and Water signs.

Miller warned the young couple “couldn’t be more different,”and said their “love affair is going to take some time to develop into a long-term success.”

But of course everything seems to be going well for the couple now, and Debbie Frank isn’t surprised. After meeting the late Princess Diana in 1989, the astrologer managed to chart the young prince’s future, and her predictions seem to be coming true.

Kate Middleton Made Headlines For Stepping Out In One Of Diana’s Favorite Accessories

It’s no doubt a tiara fit for a princess, and Kate knows how to pull it off.

Prince William and Kate Middleton left their 4-year-old son George and 2-year-old daughter Charlotte, at home to attend a reception for diplomats hosted by the Queen.

Hello Magazine

The white-tie event at Buckingham Palace in London had everyone dressed in their best.

This was the fourth time she and William have attended the party, which has diplomats from over 170 mission in the UK greeted by members of the royal family.

The prestigious affair marks the beginning of the festive season at the palace. Later in the month, the Queen will host her extended family for a pre-Christmas lunch before heading to her estate in Sandringham.

Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall arrived in a different car from the expectant parents.

Camilla wore a tiara and beaded gown along with a three-strand pearl necklace to the affair.

Kate has only worn the favored tiara a handful of times, but everyone admits she looks stunning in it.

15 Royals Who Started Their Lives As Regular People

Everyone dreams about marrying into a royal family and living the rest of their life in luxury, but not very many of us actually make it happen.

These 15 women from humble backgrounds found a literal prince charming and said, “I do.”

1. Silvia Sommerlath – Queen of Sweden

Before she was Her Royal Highness Queen Silvia, she was working as a hostess at the 1972 Summer Olympics. That’s where she caught the eye of Prince Carl Gustaf. They married just four years later, and she became queen when Carl’s father died.

2. Kate Middleton – Duchess of Cambridge

The Maggie Blog

While we know her as “Princess Kate,” that’s not really true (yet). Middleton was studying art history at university when she met Prince William, and the couple dated off-and-on before finally trying the knot in 2011.

3. Maxima Zorreguieta – Queen of the Netherlands

This queen is an accomplished career woman in her own right, with a degree in economics and experience as the international sales VP at Deutsche Bank.

6. Jetsun Pema – Queen of Bhutan

Pema’s official title is the “Dragon Queen” of the tiny Asian monarchy, and she’s actually a distant cousin of her husband (deep breath here) King Jigme Khesar Namyel Wangchuck.

Royal Correspondant

Their relationship caused controversy, because Pema is 10 years younger than her husband, and they married when she was just 21.

7.  Sonja Haraldsen – Queen of Norway

Royal Correspondant

Crown Prince Harald had to keep his love for Haraldsen secret, because she was not a noble and their marriage was forbidden. He swore to his father that he would never marry unless he could be with her, and the king granted him special permission for the engagement.

8. Diana Spencer – Princess of Wales

Daily Express

Sorry, make that “14 Commoners Who Became Royalty By Marriage.” Despite being “The People’s Princess,” Diana came from a noble family, and became Lady Diana in 1975 when her father was made an Earl. She simply upgraded to Princess Diana when she married Prince Charles.

The prince’s second spouse, Camilla Parker Bowles, wasn’t a commoner either.

Prince Harry Says Diana “Knew Exactly What She Was Doing” When She Touched The Man With Aids

One of Princess Diana’s lasting legacies was her work fighting the HIV/AIDS epidemic. She saw a group of people who were being ignored and knew she had to help.

On April 19, 1987, Princess Diana visted London Middlesex Hospital, where the first ever treatment center for HIV/AIDS was opened in the UK. Then, Diana did something no one ever expected. She shook the hand of a patient with AIDS, without wearing any gloves.

John Redman/AP

To us now, this isn’t necessarily a big deal. We all know that HIV/AIDS cannot be spread through a handshake. But in 1987, there was less information on how the disease spread. Because of this, more than 50% of people surveyed by the Los Angeles Times believed people with HIV/AIDS should be quarantined.

“If a royal was allowed to go in shake a patient’s hands, somebody at the bus stop or the supermarket could do the same,” a nurse who witnessed Diana’s hospital visit once told the BBC. “That really educated people.”

30 years after her historic handshake, Prince Harry spoke about his mother’s desire to help.

Diana’s Personal Butler Remembers The Princess That Only He Knew

Princess Diana’s sudden death in 1997 shocked everyone, and while her fans and admirers around the world grappled with the news, her death was even tougher on those who knew her best.

Recently, both Prince William and Harry have talked candidly about how the princess’s death affected them. It wasn’t easy losing a mother at such a young age, but of course they’ve both grown up to be happy and successful. They’ve shared their fond childhood memories of Diana, and her closest friends have also remembered her life.

Butler Paul Burrell worked for Princess Diana in her final years.Lady First

One of the people closest to Diana in the years just before her death was Paul Burrell, a longtime member of the Royal Family’s personal staff. While we only have Burrell’s memory of her exact words, he remembers the princess calling him her “rock,” and “the only man she ever trusted.”

But the princes have their own view of Burrell, saying he committed “cold and overt betrayal” of their mother’s trust after her death.

Before he met Diana, Burrell lived an interesting life; he was born to blue-collar workers, but decided to dedicate his life to working in Buckingham Palace after seeing the Changing of the Guard during a childhood trip to London.

Burrell managed to achieve his dream, starting as a footman at the palace at age 18. He gradually worked his way up to becoming the Queen’s personal footman, then spent time as Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s footman, before finally becoming the princess’s personal butler.

6 Final Resting Places That Became Tourist Traps

Grave sites are holy places where we pay respects to those whom we have loved and lost. But for some people, visiting the graves of people that they have never met is considered a pilgrimage of sorts, especially when it comes to celebrity grave sites. Here are five of the most visited grave sites in the world.

“Old blue eyes” was one of the most polarizing figures in entertainment, ever. His grandiose showmanship, his attitude and personal presence, his alleged ties to organized crime, and his passion for the opposite sex made him a true entertainment icon.

He is buried in Palm Springs, California, alongside a bottle of Jack Daniels and a pack of Camel cigarettes. His epitaph speaks volumes to the way he looked at life, “The Best Is Yet To Come”. Thousands of people visit his grave each year in order to pay homage to one of the best to ever do it.

Princess Diana was the people’s princess, and I could think of no better place to find her final resting place. She was interred on her family’s property in Althorp, North Hampshire, on Round Oval Island, in the middle of a small lake on the family land.

Her urn can be seen from the shore surrounding the island, and people are allowed to visit the site between July and September, but no one is allowed to step foot on the island itself. Four black swans live on the island and patrol the waters as beautiful sentries.

Samuel L. Clemens, or as is much more widely known, Mark Twain, is buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira, New York. Twain is famous for writing what is considered to be the quintessential American novel, Huckleberry Finn.

Thomas Henegar, the person responsible for overseeing Woodlawn Cemetery says that he would guess that nearly 3000 people come through the gates for a chance to pay their respects to, quite likely, the greatest American writer of all time.
