Jenelle Evans Admits “Dog Killing” Controversy Was All For Publicity

Well here’s something we didn’t think we’d see: Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has admitted to police that the entire months-long drama after her husband, David Eason, allegedly shot and killed the family dog was FAKE.

The shocking revelation came after Radar Online obtained the media release from the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office, and the reality TV seemed to change her story. It’s especially wild when you remember that Evans and Eason lost custody of their kids and had to go through multiple court appearances to get them back.

“[Evans] advised that her husband, David Eason, threw the dog outside. She then advised that after David realized the dog scratched their child, he went outside and shot the dog,” the statement read, regarding Evans’ call to police on May 1st after the alleged accident happened. “Jenelle stated that she did hear a gunshot but did not witness the incident.”

Two weeks later, on May 13th, the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office searched their property while executing a warrant. No weapons were found during the search, and there was “no blood evidence or any other physical evidence to validate that an animal had been fatally injured on the property,” the report read. This was the same day the Department of Social Services served four custody orders for Maryssa, Jace, Kaiser, and Ensley.

The next day, investigators met with Evans and tried to get more information out of her, but that’s when her story started to change. They began to notice “inconsistencies” in Evans’ stories.

“Jenelle advised that she was inside with her children at the time of the alleged event,” the report read. “She advised that she never heard or saw anything to indicate that David shot her dog.”

Evans also stated she wanted the investigation to end, a decision she “made on her own free will.”

“Jenelle advised that ‘She don’t know where the dog is.’ She also advised that ‘I don’t know if she was shot or killed or not,’” the statement read. “Jenelle stated that the reason she filed the animal cruelty report was for the publicity and because she did not know where her dog was.”

The animal cruelty charge ended up getting dropped, because the evidence was “fabricated,” according to the Sheriff’s office. Evans and Eason also just regained custody of their kids,

Now the entire case is closed, but something isn’t adding up. So let’s take a look at the details.

Why It Doesn’t Add Up

The same day the news broke that Eason had shot the family dog, Nugget, Evans posted an emotional tribute on her Instagram which seemed to confirm that he was dead.

Nugget… I’m crying everyday,” she wrote. “I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless,” she captioned a photo with the pet. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back. #Heartbroken #Distraught”

Eason also posted on Instagram that day, again responding to the reports that he had killed Nugget.

“I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that s— at all,” he wrote. “I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge wether or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”

If Nugget wasn’t dead, and Evans didn’t know where the dog was, then why would she he was “gone forever?” Also this week, Evans did a Q&A on her Instagram page where she admitted that “the dog incident” was hard on her and her husband.

“We were on bad terms for almost a week. Didn’t talk much. He knows how upset it made me,” she wrote. “Now that we are getting over this incident, our relationship has got a lot stronger. David has completed anger management as well.”

Instagram – Jenelle Evans

Oh, and another thing. Evans literally told Us Weekly that Eason killed the dog.

“David killed my dog Nugget because he snapped at my 2-year-old, Ensley,” she told them. “He doesn’t put up with that and those are his beliefs. He just took her and shot her in the woods … about two acres away from the house.”

Evans even said she was considering divorce after the whole ordeal.

“David and I are not on talking terms,” she said.I’m too hurt and upset at the fact he did that. It’s taking time to get over this whole situation, and it’s making me feel he’s very cruel and doesn’t have a heart on many ends. [I] would like for everyone to just give me my own time right now to figure things out and clear my head. At this time, we are dealing with this rough situation. I want to focus on what’s best for me and my kids. (Divorce is) in thoughts, but nothing is finalized.”

Honestly, the whole thing smells fishy. It sounds like they just want the entire thing to go away, but at the same time, admitting all this was a publicity stunt isn’t going to help your cause. How could someone lose custody of their kids for almost two months all for publicity?

What story do you believe?

Jenelle Evans Answer Questions After Regaining Custody Of Kids

After months of drama and headlines, Jenelle Evans and her husband, David Eason, finally regained custody of their kids. Eason shot and killed the family dog, Nugget, for allegedly nipping at his young daughter Ensley, and it prompted a slew of complaints and a CPS investigation. Evans was fired from Teen Mom 2 as a result of the animal cruelty, and once authorities stepped in, her kids were taken away.

Just this past week, Evans regained custody of her 5-year-old son Kaiser with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith and 2-year-old daughter Ensley whom she shares with Eason. Evans’ 9-year-old son Jace, who lives permanently with his grandmother, wasn’t allowed in the home during the investigation, but that has now been lifted. Eason’s 11-year-old daughter Maryssa, of whom he has full custody, was removed from the home as well, but is now back.

After the ruling, Evans released a statement that was a little strange to some people.

“I am ecstatic to regain custody of my kids back!” she said. “Throughout this long process and final decision, I am excited to be moving forward and continuing to show America I’m a good parent.”

Many fans found it weird that she was focused on proving to America that she’s a good parent, rather than proving it to her kids, but that’s neither here nor there.

Once the ruling came down, Griffith wasn’t thrilled with the result. He was noticeably upset after Kaiser was returned to Evans, and even tweeted out a survey for complaints against the judge on the case.

“I’ve calm down a bit and just relying on my faith at this moment,” he tweeted. “I’m not going to put my two cents in but if anyone wants to put their input, you can visit: https://survey.nccourts.org/1480690875 to complete a survey. Any input will help. The judge’s name is Pauline Hankins. TY #TeamGriffith.”

Other than the statement, Evans has been fairly silent about the whole thing. However, today she did a Q&A on her Instagram page that answered some questions that fans were curious about.

“How’s everything been since having all the kids back? Does [Jace] get to live with y’all too?”

“Everything and everyone is doing great,” Evans answered. “We are super grateful and happy. Jace will live with us full time soon but not now.”

As mentioned, Jace currently lives full time with Evans’ mom. The reality star wrote about this in her book, where she claimed that her mother tricked her into giving up custody of her son.

One night my mother convinced me to go out with my friends so I could relax,” Evans wrote. “My mother. Wanted me to relax. I took the bait, however, and went out for the evening with Tori. My mother had called [Child Protective Services] and told them I was out partying all night and left my son at home. She told them I did this pretty much every night, which was a lie. I tried to tell them she told me to go out, but they wouldn’t listen. They gave my mother temporary custody in light of my actions. My mother had set me up and I had fallen hard for it.”

“Do you think you and Nathan should have split custody or keep it the same? Why/why not?”

“Keep it the way it is now,” Evans said. “There’s a lot of details behind why there is supervised visits with Nathan.”

It’s not really clear what Evans means by this, but Griffith’s mom spoke out after Evans regained custody of Kaiser, saying her son was extremely upset and made it seem like Kaiser was in danger when he’s with Evans and Eason.

“Nathan is an absolute wreck over this,” Doris Davidson said. “He called me saying, ‘Mom, I can not believe this.’ Kaiser is so loved, sheltered and protected here, I felt like I was lying to him, when I told him I was going to protect him. I couldn’t protect him. My heart is broken, its just broken…We are in shock, absolute shock, at the judge’s decision.”

“What’s one thing you wish people would know about you?”

“I’m not as confrontational as people believe,” Evans said.

This one is a little hard to believe, as once Evans literally drove after a guy a who cut her off and threatened him with a gun – all while Jace was in the car.

“How does it feel to have your kids ripped from your arms & everyone calling you a horrible mom?”

“Doesn’t bother me what-so-ever because my babies are back in my arms,” Evans wrote. “Obviously that goes to show that some of you believe anything you read online and don’t know anything close to the truth.”

I guess it’s easy to say it doesn’t bother you once they’re back, but I can’t imagine Evans wasn’t bothered when she was going to court to fight for them back.

“What are your kids’ favorite activity to do with you and your husband?”

“Jace loves to fish with David,” Evans revealed. “Kaiser loves to play hunting outside, Maryssa does scuba a lot with him, and Ensley loves to swim/watch movies with him.”

Evans is clearly trying to paint a picture of her husband that is much more kind than we know him to be. Eason has had a history of violence, and part of the reason the kids were taken away was the authorities believed he could be a danger to them due to his temper.

“Why are you acting like you and David are good parents?”

“It’s not acting, it’s facts,” Evans bluntly put.

“Why should Nathan have supervised visits if he just kept [Kaiser] all that time alone? 50/50?”

“He didn’t keep Kaiser alone, and if he did then he would be in contempt of the custody order,” Evans pointed out. “But there’s a lot of behind the scene details why it’s supervised.”

Again, it’s not clear on what these “details” are, but clearly there’s a big piece of the puzzle we’re missing, or at least according to Evans there is.

“Will y’all consider letting [Maryssa] go to public school like the other kids?”

“Yes, she is going to,” Evans said. “I do want to point out she wanted to try out homeschooling to begin with.”

Maryssa is currently being home-schooled by her father, and it’s unclear who homeschooled her when she was removed from the home.

“Do you still have an open CPS case or did they close out? Is court with them done?”

“Court is completely done with,” Evans revealed. “The CPS case is dismissed. Everything they had as evidence was basically all hearsay.”

It’s hard to believe that a case full of hearsay would go on for two months, but until we hear otherwise, we only have Evans’ word to go off.

“Will you get your turn to tell your side of things at some point?”

“Yes, I’ve been filming/documenting my experience through all of this,” Evans wrote. “I will put it [all together] and let you guys see how my life was completely turned upside down soon.”

Since Evans was fired from Teen Mom 2, there won’t be any professionally filmed or documented footage of what went down, but it seems like Evans has things all sorted out.

“Is Nathan even allowed to share the complaint link he did yesterday?”

Instagram – Jenelle Evans

“IDK but he’s really immature for posting that,” Evans shared. “I’ve had many judges rule in a way that I didn’t like and never once did I posted a bad thing about the judge on social media. I find it extremely disrespectful.”

There probably isn’t a rule about posting a complaint form against a judge, but this is a situation where I agree with Evans – it was pretty immature.

“Was it a hard decision to stay with David after the dog incident?”

“Honestly, yes,” Evans admitted. “We were on bad terms for almost a week. Didn’t talk much. He knows how upset it made me. Now that we are getting over this incident our relationship has got a lot stronger. David has completed anger management as well.”

There were rumors that anger management was part of the court conditions before Evans and Eason could get their kids back, but that hasn’t been confirmed. The fact that the bad terms only lasted a week is pretty shocking. If my husband shot and killed our dog it would take a lot longer than that for me to get over it, if I ever could.

Nathan’s Girlfriend

Griffith’s current girlfriend, Ashley Lanhardt, have never gotten along, and she made that even more clear during her Q&A. In a since-deleted tweet, Evans was asked “Genuine question, have you ever invited Nathan and Ashley to your place for Kaiser’s sake?” The question comes on the heels of Griffith and Lanhardt inviting Eason and Evans to Kaiser’s 5th birthday party a few weeks back while Griffith had custody.

“Nope.. and there’s a damn good reason. As soon as Kaiser’s party was over Ashley had to go tweet some s**t about David but all nice to his face,” Jenelle tweeted, adding an emoji with rolling eyes. “Don’t trust her at all.”

Evans continued in an Instagram story, referencing a post that Lanhardt must have made on her private Facebook account.

“There was no findings of abuse or neglect despite what Ashley Lanhardt has posted to her Facebook,” Evans wrote. “I’ve known judge Hawkins for years and she is very fair with her rulings and you def don’t want to go in front of her for criminal charges.”

Lanhardt responded to Evans’ post on Twitter, saying “TY Jenelle Evans / Eason, (whatever name you are using today) for the name drop. Sorry guys I only approve people I personally know on FB. Girl, you must have some amazing stalking skills to see my private Facebook. I stand by everything I have said/posted. Who’s more credible?”

In the end, it’s up to the courts decide what’s right for the children, and they seem to think returning them to Evans and Eason was the right call. That doesn’t mean everyone will agree with it, though. It’s interesting to hear all of Evans’ answer, as it’s the most she’s spoken out about the situation in a while.

What do you think of Evans’ Q&A?

Jenelle Evans “Sobs” In Court As She Loses Custody Of Kids

If you haven’t heard, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has been in a battle with authorities and CPS after her husband, David Eason, shot and killed their family dog for nipping their young daughter, Ensley, on the cheek. It caused a whirlwind of controversy, including Evans being fired from MTV.

After Eason shot the dog, CPS stepped in to take away the kids while they investigated the situation. Evans’ son Jace, who primarily lives with his grandmother, was not allowed to return to the house. Her son Kaiser was put in the custody of his father, Nathan. Ensley, the daughter of Evans and Eason, was put in the care of Evans’ mom along with Jace. Eason’s daughter Maryssa, who primarily lived with the couple, was believed to still be in the home as Eason continued to homeschool her.

Instagram – Barbara Evans

Evans and Eason maintained that they had done nothing wrong, and that their kids never should have been taken from them. However, a judge in the courts disagreed. Today, Evans and Eason temporarily lost custody of their kids.

“The judge told Jenelle that she failed to protect the children while they were in her care,” an insider said. “The judge heard testimony that David and Jenelle were constantly screaming and arguing, and the children were terrified. CPS described the state of the home as horrific. It was filthy, and there were holes in all of the walls.”

The news came as a shock to Evans, who previously went on record saying that she would be getting her kids back and cooperating with the courts. When the news broke that she wouldn’t be getting her kids back that day, she lost it.

“Jenelle was sobbing in court,” the source said. “Jenelle believed that her lawyer was going to be able to get her children back and she seemed stunned when this happened. Jenelle is standing by David. Despite what happened, she has no plans to leave him.”

It was also revealed that Maryssa was put in the care of her maternal grandmother, and her supervised visits with Eason were emotionally traumatic.

“It was supervised with the Sheriff and social services was in the room and Maryssa ran out hysterically crying into her grandmother’s arms,” the source said.

Evans’ manager Johnny Donovan told Us Weekly: “At this time we are cooperating with the judge and legal team from court. We have no comment at this time and we appreciate the concerns regarding our client and her children. We will continue to cooperate with the court and their decisions.”

It’s important to note that Evans didn’t lose any legal rights to her kids. The situation is temporary, and the couple will appear in court again next week to try and regain custody of their kids. If the current caregivers want to take on permanent custody of the kids, they’ll have to petition the courts to do so.

It’s sad to see how far Evans and Eason have fallen, but perhaps this will serve as a wake-up call to Evans that her relationship with Eason is costing her the chance to be a mom.

Do you think they’ll get custody back?

Could A Fellow “Teen Mom” Star Be Taking One Of Jenelle’s Kids?

Everything is kind of up in the air right now for Jenelle Evans and her kids, after all three of them were removed from her home after her husband, David Eason, viciously murdered the family dog, Nugget. According to Eason, the dog nipped at 2-year-old daughter Ensley’s face, and that was enough for him.

Since the whole situation occurred, local authorities and CPS have been involved, concluding that it was unsafe for Evans’ kids to remain in her care. Jace, 9, Kaiser, 4, and Ensley, 2, were all taken from the house. Jace and Ensley are with Evans’ mom Barbara, who already has primary custody of Jace. Kaiser is currently living with is father Nathan Griffith, but Evans said it was never communicated to her that this would be happening.

“Kaiser was taken from his daycare by his grandmother with no notice or call to me,” the reality star said to Us Weekly. “CPS told Doris to take Kaiser without my consent and still have no legal paperwork signed by the judge stating my kids are taken from me. Nathan and I have talked briefly regarding this situation. [He] and I are to appear in court later this month.”

The entire situation is complicated, as Evans has been fired from Teen Mom 2, but it doesn’t appear that any charges have actually been laid, plus she wasn’t the one who killed the dog. In fact, she was completely distraught that it happened. Since she got fired by MTV, the big question has been how the show will go on. Evans undoubtedly brought a lot of drama with her, and fellow co-star Kailyn Lowry says that it ended up being more of a distraction.

“I think that people did watch the show for Jenelle and I don’t think that that can be denied,” Lowry, told TMZ when they caught up with her. “I think the drama is hurting the show and it’s unfortunate for those who have worked really hard to kind of rebuild our reputation.”

“There’s a difference between daily drama and drama that involves criminal activity,” Lindsie Chrisley, Lowry’s friend, chimed in.

“And hurting living things,” Lowry added.

An interesting bit from the chat is when Lowry brings up the notion that she may be the one to take Ensley.

“People are messaging me and asking me if I’ll take Ensley, so I’m like, ‘Ohhh, I don’t know. I don’t want to get involved.’ I’m not considering it at this time, but I hope that the children are … happy and healthy overall.”

It’s weird to say that she’s “not considering it,” because that concept hasn’t really been brought up at all. Plus, there’s such a dramatic and tenuous history between Evans and Lowry. Lowry sent Evans a “peace offering” after she launched a haircare line, and Evans lit it on fire and posted the video on Instagram. I can’t imagine they ever made a deal to take each others’ children in case of an emergency. That being said, MTV may have suggested it to make for better television.

MTV

Lowry has only publicly commented on the situation one other time, which was after Evans was fired from the show.

“I have refrained from commenting on the disturbing situation involving David Eason and Jenelle Evans while I wrapped my head around the murder of Nugget,” Lowry wrote on Instagram. “To say I am disgusted and appalled over David’s actions doesn’t begin to touch on my true feelings. Being the owner of dogs myself, I am heartbroken and sickened by what happened to Nugget. I hope that Jenelle and her children are safe and take the necessary steps to get the help that is clearly needed.”

MTV

Evans and Eason appeared in court this week to discuss the matter of custody of the kids, but there’s been no word as to what was specifically discussed or if any decisions were made.

What do you think of this whole situation?

CPS Takes Aways Jenelle Evans’ Kids

By now, you’ve probably heard that Jenelle Evans’ husband, David Eason, shot and killed their family dog after he nipped at the couple’s daughter Ensley. The story has made headlines, and even resulted in Evans getting fired from Teen Mom 2, where she’s been a mainstay for years.

MTV

“MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of ‘Teen Mom 2’ with him since,” a spokesperson for MTV said. “Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”

Instagram – David Eason

The next big question was how this situation would affect Evans and Eason’s relationship. Evans made it clear that she was “considering divorce,” but wouldn’t say for sure what was going to happen.

“At this time, we are dealing with this rough situation. I want to focus on what’s best for me and my kids,” she said shortly after this all happened. “[Divorce is] in thoughts, but nothing is finalized. … I’m too hurt and upset at the fact he did that. It’s taking time to get over this whole situation, and it’s making me feel he’s very cruel and doesn’t have a heart on many ends. David killed my dog Nugget because he snapped at my 2-year-old, Ensley. He doesn’t put up with that and those are his beliefs. He just took her and shot her in the woods … about two acres away from the house.”

Instagram – David Eason

Both local authorities and CPS wanted to intervene with the family for the safety of the kids, but because of Eason’s public declaration that he’ll harm trespassers on his property, plus his love of guns, they have been hesitant to approach the house.

Now, however, the situation has reached new heights. Evans’ kids, Jace, Kaiser, and Ensley, have all been, or are in the process of being, removed from the home. Nine-year-old Jace, who lives with his grandmother who has primary custody, is not allowed back to Evans’ home until the investigation is complete. TMZ is also reporting that authorities are close to removing Ensley from the home, as well. She will be given to Barbara as well.

Instagram – Jenelle Evans

As for 4-year-old Kaiser, Evans confirmed that he was taken from his daycare by his father Nathan Griffith’s mother, Doris. He’ll stay in Griffith’s care until the investigation is complete.

MTV

“Our current custody order is still in place,” Evans said of her arrangement with Griffith. “Nathan is to have supervised visits and only supervised by Doris. Surprisingly, me and Nathan have been getting along, so I’m willing to maybe let his visits be unsupervised. Me and Nathan have been in contact during all of this. He doesn’t want Kaiser taken from me. My legal team has been on this since it [occurred]. I’ve been fighting to get my son back, as they went behind my back and removed him without my consent.”

Instagram – Jenelle Evans

Evans also revealed that divorce is currently off the table, and that marriage counseling is the way to proceed.

“My relationship with David now is still in a healing process, of course,” Evans explained. “We are going to start going to marriage counseling because he feels as if we both need it. I completely agree. Not considering divorce unless he refuses counseling with me.”

Instagram – Jenelle Evans

Eason’s 11-year-old daughter, Maryssa, still lives with the couple, and it doesn’t appear as though that’s changed soon.

“David has full custody over her and still homeschools her,” Evans said. “Maryssa has been with us since everything has been going down. She is frustrated with the media she sees online about her father because she knows the truth what goes on in our household. At this time, I want to focus on what’s best for myself and my family. My lawyer has been advising me on what to do and what has gone wrong in this whole situation.”

Christopher Adkins, a family lawyer in North Carolina, spoke to Hollywood Life about the situation, though he is not currently working on the case. He did say, however, that this situation could be more drawn out than anyone intended, especially when it comes to custody battles.

Instagram – Jenelle Evans

“In order to prove to CPS that the children will have a safe environment, they will have to show that there are no guns accessible, I don’t think this is an issue here but there are no drugs left out, they are completing some kind of anger management program, then that is when CPS feels comfortable to allow the children to return to their home,” Adkins said. “Additionally, if the fathers to Jenelle’s other kids made reports to CPS, it might be grounds to modify their current custody arrangement. So this could negatively affect her, and have her current custody order modified.”

Instagram – David Eason

Personally, I think something needs to be done so that Evans finally realizes how serious this situation is, and how dangerous Eason can be. His temper has proven to be problematic in the past, but now it’s putting the family at risk.

What do you think should happen to Evans and Eason?

Jenelle Evans Fired From “Teen Mom 2”

Things just keep getting worse and worse for Jenelle Evans and her family. This past week, Jenelle’s husband, David Eason, shot and killed their family dog, Nugget. The French bulldog had allegedly nipped at Jenelle and David’s young daughter Ensley, prompting David to slam the dog against the back deck and bring her to the woods to shoot her.

At first, the story was just speculation, but then David confirmed the reports on his Instagram page.

“I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face. Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that s—t at all,” he wrote. “I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge whether or not an animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”

Jenelle was extremely upset, obviously, that her dog had been killed, and she told Us that she was considering divorce.

“At this time, we are dealing with this rough situation. I want to focus on what’s best for me and my kids,” she said, noting that the couple were not on speaking terms.

There were questions about whether or not Jenelle would still appear on Teen Mom 2. David had previously been fired from the show after his homophobic comments, and the show had been trying to film around him when shooting Jenelle, which proved to be difficult. Now, however, they won’t have to worry about that at all…as MTV has announced they are no longer including her in the show.

“MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of ‘Teen Mom 2’ with him since,”  spokesperson said. “Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”

It’s an interesting move, as Jenelle really didn’t have anything to do with the death of her dog, at least not that we know of. However, it’s possible that they’re firing her due to what she hasn’t done. According to the Columbus Country Sheriff’s Department, there wouldn’t be any investigation into animal cruelty charges against David unless Jenelle pressed charges. They refused to work off of “sensationalized media reports or social media posts.”

Authorities were sent to David and Jenelle’s home to conduct a welfare check, but because of a pit bull on the porch and a load of “No Trespassing” signs, they felt it was unsafe to go on to the property. After all, David has bragged about his arsenal of weapons, and has stated multiple times that he is not afraid to “protect” his property from intruders.

If MTV found out that Jenelle wasn’t going to press charges, it’s possible they used this as a reason to cut ties with the mom of three. The network already lost a bunch of advertisers after the news of Nugget’s death broke, including TWIX, Chipotle, Dove Chocolate and animal treats company Greenies. All of the companies said they didn’t want to be associated with the series, as they have a zero-tolerance policy towards animal cruelty.

Kailyn Lowry, also a star of Teen Mom 2, spoke out about David’s actions on her own social media account. Kailyn and Jenelle have had very public feuds in the past, but this situation seems to have allowed calmer heads to prevail.

“I have refrained from commenting on the disturbing situation involving David Eason and Jenelle Evans while I wrapped my head around the murder of Nugget,” Kailyn wrote.

I think Jenelle is in a bad situation and feels like she can’t escape, but I also think she needs to seriously consider how David and his antics will affect her family and their well-being in the future.

Do you think MTV made the right call?
