Jenelle Evans Admits “Dog Killing” Controversy Was All For Publicity

Well here’s something we didn’t think we’d see: Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has admitted to police that the entire months-long drama after her husband, David Eason, allegedly shot and killed the family dog was FAKE.

The shocking revelation came after Radar Online obtained the media release from the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office, and the reality TV seemed to change her story. It’s especially wild when you remember that Evans and Eason lost custody of their kids and had to go through multiple court appearances to get them back.

“[Evans] advised that her husband, David Eason, threw the dog outside. She then advised that after David realized the dog scratched their child, he went outside and shot the dog,” the statement read, regarding Evans’ call to police on May 1st after the alleged accident happened. “Jenelle stated that she did hear a gunshot but did not witness the incident.”

Two weeks later, on May 13th, the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office searched their property while executing a warrant. No weapons were found during the search, and there was “no blood evidence or any other physical evidence to validate that an animal had been fatally injured on the property,” the report read. This was the same day the Department of Social Services served four custody orders for Maryssa, Jace, Kaiser, and Ensley.

The next day, investigators met with Evans and tried to get more information out of her, but that’s when her story started to change. They began to notice “inconsistencies” in Evans’ stories.

“Jenelle advised that she was inside with her children at the time of the alleged event,” the report read. “She advised that she never heard or saw anything to indicate that David shot her dog.”

Evans also stated she wanted the investigation to end, a decision she “made on her own free will.”

“Jenelle advised that ‘She don’t know where the dog is.’ She also advised that ‘I don’t know if she was shot or killed or not,’” the statement read. “Jenelle stated that the reason she filed the animal cruelty report was for the publicity and because she did not know where her dog was.”

The animal cruelty charge ended up getting dropped, because the evidence was “fabricated,” according to the Sheriff’s office. Evans and Eason also just regained custody of their kids,

Now the entire case is closed, but something isn’t adding up. So let’s take a look at the details.

Why It Doesn’t Add Up

The same day the news broke that Eason had shot the family dog, Nugget, Evans posted an emotional tribute on her Instagram which seemed to confirm that he was dead.

Nugget… I’m crying everyday,” she wrote. “I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless,” she captioned a photo with the pet. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back. #Heartbroken #Distraught”

Eason also posted on Instagram that day, again responding to the reports that he had killed Nugget.

“I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that s— at all,” he wrote. “I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge wether or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”

If Nugget wasn’t dead, and Evans didn’t know where the dog was, then why would she he was “gone forever?” Also this week, Evans did a Q&A on her Instagram page where she admitted that “the dog incident” was hard on her and her husband.

“We were on bad terms for almost a week. Didn’t talk much. He knows how upset it made me,” she wrote. “Now that we are getting over this incident, our relationship has got a lot stronger. David has completed anger management as well.”

Instagram – Jenelle Evans

Oh, and another thing. Evans literally told Us Weekly that Eason killed the dog.

“David killed my dog Nugget because he snapped at my 2-year-old, Ensley,” she told them. “He doesn’t put up with that and those are his beliefs. He just took her and shot her in the woods … about two acres away from the house.”

Evans even said she was considering divorce after the whole ordeal.

“David and I are not on talking terms,” she said.I’m too hurt and upset at the fact he did that. It’s taking time to get over this whole situation, and it’s making me feel he’s very cruel and doesn’t have a heart on many ends. [I] would like for everyone to just give me my own time right now to figure things out and clear my head. At this time, we are dealing with this rough situation. I want to focus on what’s best for me and my kids. (Divorce is) in thoughts, but nothing is finalized.”

Honestly, the whole thing smells fishy. It sounds like they just want the entire thing to go away, but at the same time, admitting all this was a publicity stunt isn’t going to help your cause. How could someone lose custody of their kids for almost two months all for publicity?

What story do you believe?

Details On Amber Portwood’s Machete-Filled Attack On Boyfriend

Last week, Teen Mom star Amber Portwood was arrested for domestic battery after her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, called 911 during an alleged attack from Portwood. The couple’s son, James, was present during the time of the attack.

“Just after 3:00 a.m., on 7.5.2019, officers were called to [address] reference a disturbance. Officers spoke to the male victim who stated his live-in-girlfriend and he were having a disagreement,” an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department statement read. “During which time the female, later identified as Amber Portwood assaulted him, while he was holding their one-year-old child.”

Glennon apparently texted police for help, but it wasn’t clear on the details as to what happened.

“I received a text message from somebody saying that their life and their son’s life is in danger,” a dispatch recording from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department

Portwood was released from jail on a $2,000 cash bond, and was charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor. The reality star has a history with violence, as well as a diagnosis of bipolar and borderline personality disorder, and to hear that she was arrested once again was sad. Portwood previously spent 17 months in prison on drug charges, but it had seemed like she turned her life around.

More Details Emerge

Now that a few days have gone by, more details are starting to come to light about what happened on the day of Portwood’s arrest. According to Marion Superior Court documents obtained by Radar Online, Portwood had a weapon on her at the time of the attack.

Her first charge is for domestic battery for “knowingly touching Andrew Glennon, a family or household member in a rude, insolent or angry manner.”

Her second charge is criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, after “[striking] the machete at and into a door, while Andrew Glennon was standing directly on the other side of the door, that created a substantial risk of bodily injury to Andrew Glennon.” This charge is a felony.

Portwood’s third charge, also a felony, is because she “knowingly touched Andrew Glennon, a family or household member, in a rude, insolent, or angry manner and Amber L Portwood committed said offense in the presence of a child less than 16 years of age, knowing that the child was present and might be able to see or hear the offense.”

According to Glennon, Portwood’s outburst was because he “dropped the ball” on plans so see the fireworks on the 4th of July.

“Mr. Glennon stated when he got inside the home, Ms. Portwood grabbed a shoe off the shoe rack and hit him with it. Mr. Glennon stated he was holding [the baby] and he turned to the side to avoid [the baby] getting hit with the shoe,” an affidavit obtained by The Ashley read. “Mr. Glennon stated he then left [the house] again with [the baby].”

Apparently, the Teen Mom star was also suicidal and threatening to kill herself.

“Mr. Glennon stated Ms. Portwood went to her drawer and took a handful of Klonopin and tossed it back like it was nothing,” the affidavit continued.

Because of these charges and Portwood’s mental state, Glennon has filed for full custody of their son. However, that doesn’t mean the couple is calling it quits.

“Andrew is doing it as a protective measure to ensure whatever happens with upcoming court rulings, their son will have the best outcome regardless,” a source explained. “Amber and Andrew still really care about each other and this is not the end of their relationship.”

Portwood is also mom to 10-year-old daughter Leah, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Gary Shirley. Shirley sent his wishes to Portwood and Glennon on Twitter after the news of Amber’s arrest broke.

“My prayers are with @AmberLPortwood, Andrew, & most importantly baby James, idk any of the particulars, however I’m thinking of them,” Shirley wrote on Twitter. “And for all the questions and concerns Leah was/is currently camping with her best friend.”

It sounds like Portwood is in serious need of treatment, and I hope she’s able to get the help she needs for the sake of herself and her kids.

Jenelle Evans Answer Questions After Regaining Custody Of Kids

After months of drama and headlines, Jenelle Evans and her husband, David Eason, finally regained custody of their kids. Eason shot and killed the family dog, Nugget, for allegedly nipping at his young daughter Ensley, and it prompted a slew of complaints and a CPS investigation. Evans was fired from Teen Mom 2 as a result of the animal cruelty, and once authorities stepped in, her kids were taken away.

Just this past week, Evans regained custody of her 5-year-old son Kaiser with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith and 2-year-old daughter Ensley whom she shares with Eason. Evans’ 9-year-old son Jace, who lives permanently with his grandmother, wasn’t allowed in the home during the investigation, but that has now been lifted. Eason’s 11-year-old daughter Maryssa, of whom he has full custody, was removed from the home as well, but is now back.

After the ruling, Evans released a statement that was a little strange to some people.

“I am ecstatic to regain custody of my kids back!” she said. “Throughout this long process and final decision, I am excited to be moving forward and continuing to show America I’m a good parent.”

Many fans found it weird that she was focused on proving to America that she’s a good parent, rather than proving it to her kids, but that’s neither here nor there.

Once the ruling came down, Griffith wasn’t thrilled with the result. He was noticeably upset after Kaiser was returned to Evans, and even tweeted out a survey for complaints against the judge on the case.

“I’ve calm down a bit and just relying on my faith at this moment,” he tweeted. “I’m not going to put my two cents in but if anyone wants to put their input, you can visit: https://survey.nccourts.org/1480690875 to complete a survey. Any input will help. The judge’s name is Pauline Hankins. TY #TeamGriffith.”

Other than the statement, Evans has been fairly silent about the whole thing. However, today she did a Q&A on her Instagram page that answered some questions that fans were curious about.

“How’s everything been since having all the kids back? Does [Jace] get to live with y’all too?”

“Everything and everyone is doing great,” Evans answered. “We are super grateful and happy. Jace will live with us full time soon but not now.”

As mentioned, Jace currently lives full time with Evans’ mom. The reality star wrote about this in her book, where she claimed that her mother tricked her into giving up custody of her son.

One night my mother convinced me to go out with my friends so I could relax,” Evans wrote. “My mother. Wanted me to relax. I took the bait, however, and went out for the evening with Tori. My mother had called [Child Protective Services] and told them I was out partying all night and left my son at home. She told them I did this pretty much every night, which was a lie. I tried to tell them she told me to go out, but they wouldn’t listen. They gave my mother temporary custody in light of my actions. My mother had set me up and I had fallen hard for it.”

“Do you think you and Nathan should have split custody or keep it the same? Why/why not?”

“Keep it the way it is now,” Evans said. “There’s a lot of details behind why there is supervised visits with Nathan.”

It’s not really clear what Evans means by this, but Griffith’s mom spoke out after Evans regained custody of Kaiser, saying her son was extremely upset and made it seem like Kaiser was in danger when he’s with Evans and Eason.

“Nathan is an absolute wreck over this,” Doris Davidson said. “He called me saying, ‘Mom, I can not believe this.’ Kaiser is so loved, sheltered and protected here, I felt like I was lying to him, when I told him I was going to protect him. I couldn’t protect him. My heart is broken, its just broken…We are in shock, absolute shock, at the judge’s decision.”

“What’s one thing you wish people would know about you?”

“I’m not as confrontational as people believe,” Evans said.

This one is a little hard to believe, as once Evans literally drove after a guy a who cut her off and threatened him with a gun – all while Jace was in the car.

“How does it feel to have your kids ripped from your arms & everyone calling you a horrible mom?”

“Doesn’t bother me what-so-ever because my babies are back in my arms,” Evans wrote. “Obviously that goes to show that some of you believe anything you read online and don’t know anything close to the truth.”

I guess it’s easy to say it doesn’t bother you once they’re back, but I can’t imagine Evans wasn’t bothered when she was going to court to fight for them back.

“What are your kids’ favorite activity to do with you and your husband?”

“Jace loves to fish with David,” Evans revealed. “Kaiser loves to play hunting outside, Maryssa does scuba a lot with him, and Ensley loves to swim/watch movies with him.”

Evans is clearly trying to paint a picture of her husband that is much more kind than we know him to be. Eason has had a history of violence, and part of the reason the kids were taken away was the authorities believed he could be a danger to them due to his temper.

“Why are you acting like you and David are good parents?”

“It’s not acting, it’s facts,” Evans bluntly put.

“Why should Nathan have supervised visits if he just kept [Kaiser] all that time alone? 50/50?”

“He didn’t keep Kaiser alone, and if he did then he would be in contempt of the custody order,” Evans pointed out. “But there’s a lot of behind the scene details why it’s supervised.”

Again, it’s not clear on what these “details” are, but clearly there’s a big piece of the puzzle we’re missing, or at least according to Evans there is.

“Will y’all consider letting [Maryssa] go to public school like the other kids?”

“Yes, she is going to,” Evans said. “I do want to point out she wanted to try out homeschooling to begin with.”

Maryssa is currently being home-schooled by her father, and it’s unclear who homeschooled her when she was removed from the home.

“Do you still have an open CPS case or did they close out? Is court with them done?”

“Court is completely done with,” Evans revealed. “The CPS case is dismissed. Everything they had as evidence was basically all hearsay.”

It’s hard to believe that a case full of hearsay would go on for two months, but until we hear otherwise, we only have Evans’ word to go off.

“Will you get your turn to tell your side of things at some point?”

“Yes, I’ve been filming/documenting my experience through all of this,” Evans wrote. “I will put it [all together] and let you guys see how my life was completely turned upside down soon.”

Since Evans was fired from Teen Mom 2, there won’t be any professionally filmed or documented footage of what went down, but it seems like Evans has things all sorted out.

“Is Nathan even allowed to share the complaint link he did yesterday?”

Instagram – Jenelle Evans

“IDK but he’s really immature for posting that,” Evans shared. “I’ve had many judges rule in a way that I didn’t like and never once did I posted a bad thing about the judge on social media. I find it extremely disrespectful.”

There probably isn’t a rule about posting a complaint form against a judge, but this is a situation where I agree with Evans – it was pretty immature.

“Was it a hard decision to stay with David after the dog incident?”

“Honestly, yes,” Evans admitted. “We were on bad terms for almost a week. Didn’t talk much. He knows how upset it made me. Now that we are getting over this incident our relationship has got a lot stronger. David has completed anger management as well.”

There were rumors that anger management was part of the court conditions before Evans and Eason could get their kids back, but that hasn’t been confirmed. The fact that the bad terms only lasted a week is pretty shocking. If my husband shot and killed our dog it would take a lot longer than that for me to get over it, if I ever could.

Nathan’s Girlfriend

Griffith’s current girlfriend, Ashley Lanhardt, have never gotten along, and she made that even more clear during her Q&A. In a since-deleted tweet, Evans was asked “Genuine question, have you ever invited Nathan and Ashley to your place for Kaiser’s sake?” The question comes on the heels of Griffith and Lanhardt inviting Eason and Evans to Kaiser’s 5th birthday party a few weeks back while Griffith had custody.

“Nope.. and there’s a damn good reason. As soon as Kaiser’s party was over Ashley had to go tweet some s**t about David but all nice to his face,” Jenelle tweeted, adding an emoji with rolling eyes. “Don’t trust her at all.”

Evans continued in an Instagram story, referencing a post that Lanhardt must have made on her private Facebook account.

“There was no findings of abuse or neglect despite what Ashley Lanhardt has posted to her Facebook,” Evans wrote. “I’ve known judge Hawkins for years and she is very fair with her rulings and you def don’t want to go in front of her for criminal charges.”

Lanhardt responded to Evans’ post on Twitter, saying “TY Jenelle Evans / Eason, (whatever name you are using today) for the name drop. Sorry guys I only approve people I personally know on FB. Girl, you must have some amazing stalking skills to see my private Facebook. I stand by everything I have said/posted. Who’s more credible?”

In the end, it’s up to the courts decide what’s right for the children, and they seem to think returning them to Evans and Eason was the right call. That doesn’t mean everyone will agree with it, though. It’s interesting to hear all of Evans’ answer, as it’s the most she’s spoken out about the situation in a while.

What do you think of Evans’ Q&A?

“Teen Mom” Star Arrested For Domestic Battery

It looks like there will be a lot to film for a new season of Teen Mom, after Amber Portwood was arrested for domestic battery. Portwood, who is the mother to 10-year-old Leah and 1-year-old James, was arrested on July 5th after her boyfriend, and the father of James, Andrew Glennon, contacted police.

“Just after 3:00 a.m., on 7.5.2019, officers were called to [address] reference a disturbance. Glennon apparently texted police for help.

This is not the first time that Portwood has run into troubles with the law. The reality star was charged with domestic battery in 2010 after striking Gary Shirley, the father of her daughter. She also served 17 months in prison, getting released in 2013, on drug charges. Portwood has always been very open about her struggles after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder.

In 2017, Portwood was accused of domestic abuse against her then-fiancé Matt Baier, but those accusations were denied by both of them once the story hit the newswaves.

“Five years ago, I made the decision to choose prison over rehab in order to fully turn my life around. Since then, I’ve worked hard to make serious changes for myself, for my daughter, and for all the fans who supported me,” Portwood told E! News at the time. “I’m saddened by the latest rumors, which are both of untrue and unfounded, but plan to continue to stay focused on my recovery and being the best person I can be for everyone in my life.”

Shirley has spoken out on the arrest of the mother of his child, with whom he’s always had a rocky relationship, although recently they have been able to coparent well.

“My prayers are with @AmberLPortwood, Andrew, & most importantly baby James, idk any of the particulars, however I’m thinking of them,” Shirley wrote on Twitter. “And for all the questions and concerns Leah was/is currently camping with her best friend.”

Portwood is due in court on July 8th for her most recent arrest, and it’s unclear whether she’ll enter a plea.

There’s Finally An Update on Jenelle Evans’ Custody Case

Jenelle Evans has finally received a ruling after losing custody of her kids in May. Evans, who was a star on Teen Mom 2, made headlines after her husband, David Eason, shot and killed the family dog for nipping at their two-year-old daughter, Ensley. The situation blew up, and resulted not only in Evans getting fired from the MTV show, but also the kids being removed from her care.

At first, it was five-year-old Kaiser who Evans shares with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith that was taken away from the home. Evans spoke out on the removal of her son at the time.

“Kaiser was taken from his daycare by his grandmother with no notice or call to me,”the reality star said to Us Weekly. “CPS told Doris to take Kaiser without my consent and still have no legal paperwork signed by the judge stating my kids are taken from me. Nathan and I have talked briefly regarding this situation. [He] and I are to appear in court later this month.”

“Our current custody order is still in place,” Evans said of her arrangement with Griffith. “Nathan is to have supervised visits and only supervised by Doris. Surprisingly, me and Nathan have been getting along, so I’m willing to maybe let his visits be unsupervised. Me and Nathan have been in contact during all of this. He doesn’t want Kaiser taken from me. My legal team has been on this since it [occurred]. I’ve been fighting to get my son back, as they went behind my back and removed him without my consent.”

Then, it was Ensley who was taken away. The toddler was put in the care of Evans’ mom, Barbara, who also has full custody of Evans’ first son, nine-year-old Jace. After Ensley was taken from them, Evans and Eason were in court to find out when they would be getting their kids back. At the time, it was bad news. In May, the couple lost custody of their kids.

“The judge told Jenelle that she failed to protect the children while they were in her care,” an insider said. “The judge heard testimony that David and Jenelle were constantly screaming and arguing, and the children were terrified. CPS described the state of the home as horrific. It was filthy, and there were holes in all of the walls.”

“Jenelle was sobbing in court,” the source said. “Jenelle believed that her lawyer was going to be able to get her children back and she seemed stunned when this happened. Jenelle is standing by David. Despite what happened, she has no plans to leave him.”

Evans’ manager Johnny Donovan told Us Weekly: “At this time we are cooperating with the judge and legal team from court. We have no comment at this time and we appreciate the concerns regarding our client and her children. We will continue to cooperate with the court and their decisions.”

Despite that heartbreak, it seems as though things are taking a turn for the better as Evans and Eason were given their children back on July 3, 2019.

The news comes not long after the couple called 911 on Barbara Evans, saying she locked Ensley in a room while she went to take a shower and then the door got stuck.

“David and I were on FaceTime with Jace when we heard my mom say to Ensley, ‘Come here, I have to take a shower.’ Then she took Ensley in the other room, and we immediately heard her screaming and crying,” Jenelle exclusively told Us.

“We asked Jace what was going on, and he said my mom locked Ensley in the bedroom so she can take a shower,” Jenelle added. “We told Jace to get the door open, and when he couldn’t get the door open, we called 911 for help because all we could hear was Ensley screaming.”

Evans had also called 911 for a welfare check on the kids after hearing a lot of “screaming.”

“I’m actually calling to have a welfare check done on my two children, Jace Evans and Ensley Eason,” the reality star said in the recording. “My mother right now is taking care of my two children. And she just called me, and I’m just trying to call and check on my kids, and I hear a lot of screaming and yelling in the background. I don’t know what’s being said. She’s screaming and yelling and carrying on about the kids, saying that my son is hitting my daughter. And now she refuses to answer the phone, so I would just a welfare check done, if that’s possible.”

In theory, the kids are going to be safe and sound back at the home, although Eason has been proven to have extreme anger issues in the past, so who knows what’s in store. For now, at least. Evans is “ecstatic” to have her kids back.

“I am ecstatic to regain custody of my kids,” she told Us. “Throughout this long process and final decision, I am excited to be moving forward and continuing to show America I’m a good parent.”

As of right now, it’s unclear whether or not there are conditions to Eason and Evans regaining custody of the kids, like anger management or marriage counseling.

Do you think Jenelle and David should have gotten their kids back?

Jenelle Evans Speaks After Parking Lot Altercations Outside Court

Jenelle Evans is speaking to the media after some courtroom altercations, plus rumors she calls “absurd.” Evans and her husband, David Eason, are currently fighting for custody of their kids after Eason shot and killed the family dog. An investigation concluded that the home was unsafe for the kids, and they were removed from the home. Jenelle’s son Jace and daughter Ensley are with her mother Barbara, while her son Kaiser is with his father, Nathan Griffith. Eason’s daughter Maryssa is with her maternal grandmother.

Instagram – Jenelle Eason

Evans has been very vocal about wanting to get her kids back, and posted on Instagram about the love a child has for their mother.

“It’s the little things in life,” she captioned a picture of herself wearing a necklace. “With everything that has been going on lately, I’ve come to realize a child’s love for their mother will never fade. No distance, not time, no person can change that special love. This necklace was given to me by my little bubba, Kaiser. He told me he wanted mommy to “match his”. My children are the sweetest and the best. 💞👧🏻👦🏼👦🏼 #MommasBabies#InMyHeart#AlwaysAndForever

Instagram – Jenelle Eason

However, things weren’t so lovey-dovey outside the court room. Evans and her mother got into a verbal argument when Evans gave her daughter a hug. Barbara seemed to take issue with it, saying that she only had half an hour to get Ensley lunch, so the longer Evans takes, Ensley will “go hungry.”

Instagram – Jenelle Eason

“I’m right outside the courthouse, giving my daughter a hug,” Evans said to her. “If you have a problem with it, then go get an officer because obviously she’s not scared. I’m hugging her.”

“It’s only for the cameras,” Barbara said, referencing the TMZ cameras that were outside the court room.

Instagram – Jenelle Eason

Evans has always had a tumultuous relationship with her mom, and told Us Weekly that her mom is likely acting out of jealousy.

“I do feel like my relationship with my mom is destroyed at this point,” Evans said. “This isn’t a way a mother should be treating her daughter. She fights so hard for my sister and my brother when they are the ones with major issues, not me. I believe my mom is saying anything at this point to make herself feel better. It might all boil down to jealousy.”

Instagram – Nathan Griffith

Eason also got into an altercation after court, getting into it with Nathan Griffith while Griffith spoke with paparazzi. Eason flipped Griffith the bird and taunted him for speaking to the cameras. Griffith said the altercation would prompt him to file a restraining order against Eason.

Instagram – Nathan Griffith

Evans’ kids – Jace, Kaiser, and Ensley – have all been the center of the drama because they’re younger and have been on TV since they were born, but Eason’s daughter Maryssa seems to have been left out of the headlines. Evans clarified that she and her husband are trying to get her back as well.

“The reports about custody are absurd,” Evans said. “I don’t understand why everyone thinks Maryssa is excluded out of this situation when every child is involved. We are fighting for all the children to come home. Maryssa’s grandmother and mother have cut David off completely. He’s being nice as possible and trying to check up on her and they refuse to answer the phone.”

Instagram – Jenelle Eason

The former Teen Mom 2 star also said that her once-a-week supervised visits are extremely emotional.

“It’s really hard holding my emotions together when your child doesn’t want to let you go, but if you don’t hold it together and break down it will make the child more concerned and upset,” she explained.

Instagram – Jenelle Eason

The road ahead looks pretty long for Evans and Eason. The two have entered parenting classes and marriage counseling, but sources have said that there’s a very simple way for Evans to get her kids back: leave Eason. He is the main holdup due to his actions and his temper. Evans has maintained that she’ll be staying with her husband through all this, which could pose a long-term problem.

Instagram – Jenelle Eason

In the end, as long as the kids are safe, nothing else matters, but I wish that Evans would realize there are things that need to change before she’ll have her family reunited again.

What do you think of the altercations?

Tyler Baltierra Posts Tribute To Daughter He Gave Up

Anyone who watched 16 & Pregnant will remember the emotional episode where Catelynn and Tyler decided to give up their daughter for adoption. The little girl, Carly, was adopted by a couple named Brandon and Teresa, who agreed to an open adoption with the young couple.

MTV

However, as Carly began to grow older, her adoptive parents requested that she not be featured on Teen Mom, or really mentioned that much at all. They also suggested that Catelynn and Tyler not come to visit for their yearly reunion, saying it wasn’t a good time. The birth parents were clearly distraught, as they had hoped to see Carly at least once a year as part of their open adoption.

MTV

“But basically, she was like, ‘Don’t make plans to come here,’” Catelynn said of Teresa’s talk with her. “Right now I guess they’re working through some things with Carly,” Lowell added, still reading from Teresa’s text message. “‘She’s at an age where she’s trying to figure out her place in life. She’s a nine-year-old girl with a different story. She just has to get confident in who she is, and we want her to be able to do that in the least confusing way possible. She just needs to mature some.’”

Instagram – Tyler Baltierra

Some people went after Brandon and Teresa, saying it was unfair to change the terms of their adoption after nine years. However, Tyler defended the adoptive parents.

“Regardless of anyone’s opinions, Brandon & Teresa are Carly’s parents & if they decide not having a visit is what’s best for her right now, then we have to trust the parental decisions that we gave them the rights to make in the first place,” Baltierra wrote Twitter. “It’s not always easy, but necessary.”

Despite not being able to see Carly as often as they’d like, there is still an immense love that Catelynn and Tyler have for the little girl. This past week, on her 10th birthday, Tyler posted a sweet message to his biological daughter, accompanied by a picture of their daughter Nova playing with Carly.

10 years ago yesterday, we were only 17.

10 years ago, we brought you into the world. 10 years ago, we only got to hold you by ourselves for a half hour in the hospital as we just cried & stared at you, remembering every little detail of how absolutely perfect you were, since we knew that even though we just met, we had to say goodbye.

10 years ago, we had to make the hardest decision of our lives & give you everything your innocent life deserved that we just couldn’t provide at the time.

10 years ago, we held each other & wept as we watched you drive away in the back of the car with the only parents that were worthy to be yours.

10 years ago…your life changed so many others for the better & has blessed more lives than I can count. We love you so much & hopefully get to see you soon baby girl. Happy Birthday Carly! #Adoption#BirthparentStrong

Kailyn Lowry, another Teen Mom cast member, commented on the post, saying “I have the chills!!! So so proud of y’all & happy birthday to Carly! ♥️”

As for Catelynn, she didn’t post anything about Carly’s birthday on social media, but she’s been open in the past about how the decision to give up her daughter has been a trigger for her mental health issues. Plus, with a 4 year old and newborn baby at home, she’s already got a lot on her mind.

I think it’s sweet that Tyler still loves and supports Carly in such a public way, and I do feel for them that the relationship they thought they’d have with her isn’t what they’re getting.

Do you think Catelynn and Tyler should be upset that Brandon and Teresa changed the agreement?

Could A Fellow “Teen Mom” Star Be Taking One Of Jenelle’s Kids?

Everything is kind of up in the air right now for Jenelle Evans and her kids, after all three of them were removed from her home after her husband, David Eason, viciously murdered the family dog, Nugget. According to Eason, the dog nipped at 2-year-old daughter Ensley’s face, and that was enough for him.

Since the whole situation occurred, local authorities and CPS have been involved, concluding that it was unsafe for Evans’ kids to remain in her care. Jace, 9, Kaiser, 4, and Ensley, 2, were all taken from the house. Jace and Ensley are with Evans’ mom Barbara, who already has primary custody of Jace. Kaiser is currently living with is father Nathan Griffith, but Evans said it was never communicated to her that this would be happening.

“Kaiser was taken from his daycare by his grandmother with no notice or call to me,” the reality star said to Us Weekly. “CPS told Doris to take Kaiser without my consent and still have no legal paperwork signed by the judge stating my kids are taken from me. Nathan and I have talked briefly regarding this situation. [He] and I are to appear in court later this month.”

The entire situation is complicated, as Evans has been fired from Teen Mom 2, but it doesn’t appear that any charges have actually been laid, plus she wasn’t the one who killed the dog. In fact, she was completely distraught that it happened. Since she got fired by MTV, the big question has been how the show will go on. Evans undoubtedly brought a lot of drama with her, and fellow co-star Kailyn Lowry says that it ended up being more of a distraction.

“I think that people did watch the show for Jenelle and I don’t think that that can be denied,” Lowry, told TMZ when they caught up with her. “I think the drama is hurting the show and it’s unfortunate for those who have worked really hard to kind of rebuild our reputation.”

“There’s a difference between daily drama and drama that involves criminal activity,” Lindsie Chrisley, Lowry’s friend, chimed in.

“And hurting living things,” Lowry added.

An interesting bit from the chat is when Lowry brings up the notion that she may be the one to take Ensley.

“People are messaging me and asking me if I’ll take Ensley, so I’m like, ‘Ohhh, I don’t know. I don’t want to get involved.’ I’m not considering it at this time, but I hope that the children are … happy and healthy overall.”

It’s weird to say that she’s “not considering it,” because that concept hasn’t really been brought up at all. Plus, there’s such a dramatic and tenuous history between Evans and Lowry. Lowry sent Evans a “peace offering” after she launched a haircare line, and Evans lit it on fire and posted the video on Instagram. I can’t imagine they ever made a deal to take each others’ children in case of an emergency. That being said, MTV may have suggested it to make for better television.

Lowry has only publicly commented on the situation one other time, which was after Evans was fired from the show.

“I have refrained from commenting on the disturbing situation involving David Eason and Jenelle Evans while I wrapped my head around the murder of Nugget,” Lowry wrote on Instagram. “To say I am disgusted and appalled over David’s actions doesn’t begin to touch on my true feelings. Being the owner of dogs myself, I am heartbroken and sickened by what happened to Nugget. I hope that Jenelle and her children are safe and take the necessary steps to get the help that is clearly needed.”

Evans and Eason appeared in court this week to discuss the matter of custody of the kids, but there’s been no word as to what was specifically discussed or if any decisions were made.

Farrah Abraham Posts Tribute To Daughter’s Late Father

Farrah Abraham sky-rocketed to fame when she appeared on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant. She had an attitude, yes, and she definitely could have treated her parents better, but there’s no denying that the high-school cheerleader was met with tragedy during an already emotional time in her life.

Farrah’s boyfriend, Derek Underwood, died in a car accident just one month before Farrah gave birth to their daughter, Sophia. Farrah has always spoken highly of Derek, and makes sure to tell Sophia all about the man she calls “Daddy Derek.” Every year, they visit his grave on the anniversary of his death, and always post photos of him on his birthday.

This year, both Farrah and Sophia wrote sweet messages to Derek on what would have been his 29th birthday, including pictures of him and Farrah when they were younger.

On the 10th anniversary of Derek’s death, Farrah said she’s not sure the pain she feels from his death will ever go away.

“As far as I can see, grief will never truly end,” she said. “It may become softer over time, more gentle, and some days will feel sharp. But grief will last as long as love does — forever. It’s simply the way the absence of your loved one manifests in your heart. A deep longing, accompanied by the deepest love. Some days, the heavy fog may return, and the next day, it may recede, once again. It’s all an ebb and flow, a constant dance of sorrow and joy, pain and sweet love.”

I may not like Farrah or what she represents, but I can absolutely respect her for working hard to keep Sophia’s late father present in their lives.

Jenelle Evans Fired From “Teen Mom 2”

Things just keep getting worse and worse for Jenelle Evans and her family. This past week, Jenelle’s husband, David Eason, shot and killed their family dog, Nugget. The French bulldog had allegedly nipped at Jenelle and David’s young daughter Ensley, prompting David to slam the dog against the back deck and bring her to the woods to shoot her.

At first, the story was just speculation, but then David confirmed the reports on his Instagram page.

“I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face. Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that s—t at all,” he wrote. “I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge whether or not an animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”

Jenelle was extremely upset, obviously, that her dog had been killed, and she told Us that she was considering divorce.

“At this time, we are dealing with this rough situation. I want to focus on what’s best for me and my kids,” she said, noting that the couple were not on speaking terms. “[Divorce is] in thoughts, but nothing is finalized. … I’m too hurt and upset at the fact he did that. It’s taking time to get over this whole situation, and it’s making me feel he’s very cruel and doesn’t have a heart on many ends. David killed my dog Nugget because he snapped at my 2-year-old, Ensley. He doesn’t put up with that and those are his beliefs. He just took her and shot her in the woods … about two acres away from the house.”

There were questions about whether or not Jenelle would still appear on Teen Mom 2. David had previously been fired from the show after his homophobic comments, and the show had been trying to film around him when shooting Jenelle, which proved to be difficult. Now, however, they won’t have to worry about that at all…as MTV has announced they are no longer including her in the show.

“MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of ‘Teen Mom 2’ with him since,”  spokesperson said. “Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”

It’s an interesting move, as Jenelle really didn’t have anything to do with the death of her dog, at least not that we know of. However, it’s possible that they’re firing her due to what she hasn’t done. According to the Columbus Country Sheriff’s Department, there wouldn’t be any investigation into animal cruelty charges against David unless Jenelle pressed charges. They refused to work off of “sensationalized media reports or social media posts.”

Authorities were sent to David and Jenelle’s home to conduct a welfare check, but because of a pit bull on the porch and a load of “No Trespassing” signs, they felt it was unsafe to go on to the property. After all, David has bragged about his arsenal of weapons, and has stated multiple times that he is not afraid to “protect” his property from intruders.

If MTV found out that Jenelle wasn’t going to press charges, it’s possible they used this as a reason to cut ties with the mom of three. The network already lost a bunch of advertisers after the news of Nugget’s death broke, including TWIX, Chipotle, Dove Chocolate and animal treats company Greenies. All of the companies said they didn’t want to be associated with the series, as they have a zero-tolerance policy towards animal cruelty.

Kailyn Lowry, also a star of Teen Mom 2, spoke out about David’s actions on her own social media account. Kailyn and Jenelle have had very public feuds in the past, but this situation seems to have allowed calmer heads to prevail.

“I have refrained from commenting on the disturbing situation involving David Eason and Jenelle Evans while I wrapped my head around the murder of Nugget,” Kailyn wrote.

I think Jenelle is in a bad situation and feels like she can’t escape, but I also think she needs to seriously consider how David and his antics will affect her family and their well-being in the future.

Do you think MTV made the right call?
