Gerber Makes History With Newest “Spokesbaby”

A 1-year-old baby boy from Georgia has become the first child with Down Syndrome to win the Gerber baby contest.

Lucas Warren was chosen out of a pool of 140,000 contestants as the winner of the 2018 Gerber Spokesbaby contest.

Lucas is the first child with Down Syndrome to win the contest since it began 90 years ago.

“Lucas’ winning smile and joyful expression won our hearts this year, and we are all thrilled to name him our 2018 Spokesbaby,” Bill Partyka, president and CEO of Gerber, said in a statement. “Every year, we choose the baby who best exemplifies Gerber’s longstanding heritage of recognizing that every baby is a Gerber baby, and this year, Lucas is the perfect fit.”

A Millionaire Is Raffling Off His Dream Home For Just $14 A Ticket

If you need any more proof that this is a buyer’s market, you can now pick up a mansion on a 10-acre lot for less than a family-size bucket of KFC.

Well, there’s only one property you can get such an incredible deal on, but you still have a chance.

An anonymous couple have come up with an unusual way of selling their dream home. Instead of putting their $4 million lot on the market, they’re raffling off tickets for the home at just $14.50 a ticket.

The property in question is a four bedroom mansion in Tiverton, England, that’s stuffed to the gills with incredible features.

The current owners designed and built the home in the ’90s, but “don’t want the hassle” of moving out. Aside from their clothes, photos, and a handful of other possessions, the home is being sold as-is.

“We’ve had some wonderful times in the house, which we designed and built ourselves,” the owners say. “However, we have two grandchildren who live four hours drive away and we want to be closer to them.”

That means appliances, a Rolls Royce, and a fully-stocked wine cellar are all part of the deal.

And that’s just the beginning of what the incredible property has to offer.

Rare Creme Eggs Worth Thousands Of Dollars Are Making Everyone Freak Out

The company behind those delicious Creme Eggs took a page out of Willy Wonka‘s playbook, and it’s driving customers bonkers.

Since Christmas, you’ve probably noticed the stores near you are swapping out their holiday decorations for Easter goodies. Whether or not you think it’s “too early” to move on, we’ll admit we love being able to buy Cadbury Creme Eggs again.

Daily Mirror

This year, the company has switched things up by offering a white chocolate version of their classic treat. But there’s a catch that’s making these eggs fly off the shelf.

Only between 350 and 400 white Creme Eggs are being delivered to stores, and they’ll be hard to spot. The white eggs are packaged almost exactly like the regular eggs. Here’s where things get interesting: if you manage to find a white egg, it’ll be worth your while.

Each egg is worth at least $136, while certain special eggs are worth $1,355. And one (just one) grand prize egg is worth $2,700 to its lucky owner.

And people are getting desperate trying to track down these eggs.

NASA Has A Spectacularly Bad Plan To Let The Internet Name A Planet

It’s not everyday that we can change the world – at least, our world. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has recently announced that an icy and seemingly barren world of MU69 will be the focus of their New Horizons spacecraft in the years to come.

The interplanetary probe, which was launched in 2006, has been taking pictures of our solar system on it’s way to Pluto, which it officially reached in July of 2015.

The images it released have been crucial to researchers looking to understand more about the dwarf planet and it’s moon, Charon.

But Pluto isn’t the end of the journey for this intrepid explorer, the scientists at NASA will be sending it on to the outer reaches of space.

That’s where we come in. The space agency is looking for something to call the target that is easier to pronounce than MU69.

Let’s see what the top suggestions are so far!

TV Host Goes Crazy Trying To Solve This Incredibly Tough Puzzle [Video]

The hunt for gold has driven mankind to do some very silly things, but this contest is definitely one of the strangest cases ever.

It takes place on the tiny Japanese island of Sado, where a historic gold mine operated for almost 400 years. Since it closed in the 1980s the mine has been turned into a museum, and along with lessons about the island’s history it holds a world-famous challenge for visitors.

The Sado Brick is a 27-pound solid gold brick, housed in a glass case. The contest is very simple: if you can reach through the 3.3 inch hole and pull out the brick (which is 3 inches wide at the base) you get a special prize. It’s deceptively simple, which is why it draws so many eager contestants.

Unfortunately, once they get their hands on the solid brick they realize just how hard it is to pull it (and your hand) through the tiny hole. The challenge was so notoriously difficult that a TV host was called in to prove it was even possible.
