Khloé Kardashian Backtracks After Emotional Outburst On Twitter

Khloé Kardashian has had a rough week, there’s no doubt about it. The mom of one was blindsided after her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, allegedly cheated on her with Jordyn Woods, who is Kylie Jenner’s best friend. Jordyn, who has been living in Kylie’s guest house for quite some time and was featured in a lot of Kardashian business ventures was given the boot by the famous family, and people were wondering how she could be so naive as to bite the hand that fed her.

Despite all the rumors, there was no hard evidence that Jordyn and Tristan cheated, although Jordyn wasn’t actually denying it. Answers were on their way, though, as Jordyn announced she’d be appearing on Red Table Talk, which is hosted by Jada Pinkett-Smith. Jada, who is of course married to Will Smith, is close to Jordyn, and the young woman even calls Will “Uncle Will.”

The show aired on Facebook, and Jordyn cleared up a lot of the rumors. The alleged making out and lap dance did not happen, according to her, although she does admit Tristan kissed her as she was leaving the party.

“On the way out, he did kiss me,” she revealed. “He just kissed me. It was a kiss on the lips. No tongue kiss… I was like, ‘That didn’t just happen.'”

Jordyn also admitted that she should be taking some of the blame on this, even though Tristan is equally to blame.

“I feel like I can’t point fingers because I allowed myself to be in that position,” she admitted. “I never was belligerently drunk to where I can’t remember what happened.”

But what Jordyn was clear on was that she’s not the one to blame for Khloé’s family falling apart.

“I know I am not the reason that Tristan and Khloe are not together,” she said strongly. “Now I know this situation may have made it harder for her to not be with him…but I know I am not the reason.”

After that comment, Khloé let loose on Twitter.

“Why are you lying [Jordyn],” Khloé tweeted. “If you’re going to try and save yourself by going public, INSTEAD OF CALLING ME PRIVATELY TO APOLOGIZE FIRST, at least be HONEST about your story. [By the way], you ARE the reason my family broke up!”

The 34 year old also acknowledged that Tristan was at fault as well.

“Tristan is equally to blame but Tristan is the father of my child,” she tweeted. “Regardless of what he does to me I won’t do that to my daughter. He has been addressing this situation PRIVATELY. If Tristan were to lie publicly about what conspired, then yes I would address him publicly as well.”

Khloé began taking a lot of heat for her comments, because she seemed to be attacking Jordyn, who is 13 years her junior, over something that happened between two people. Many also pointed out that Khloé cheated with Tristan while he was with his previous girlfriend, and he even cheated days before their daughter True’s birth, so this really shouldn’t be surprising.

Instagram – Khloe Kardashian

The reality star has since back tracked on her comments, acknowledging that she was heated in the moment.

“This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I),” she tweeted. “I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have. Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time. What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me. Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault. I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True.”

Instagram – Khloe Kardashian

Seems like a bit of a 180 from just a day ago, and it’s not really clear what caused Khloé to change her mind. As long as she’s taking care of her daughter, then I guess it doesn’t really matter.

Personally, I think both Tristan and Jordyn are to blame here. Jordyn admitted to being flirty with Tristan the night of the alleged cheating, and I think she also could have been more open about it with the family rather than trying to hide it. At the same time, Tristan should be able to keep it in his pants, or at least have the decency to end his relationship before trying to hook up with other women.

The real question is…will Jordyn ever be welcome in the Kardashian-Jenner world again?

Derick Dillard Blames TLC For “Exploiting” His Family, Makes More Dumb Comments

Derick Dillard, married to Jill Duggar, needs a lesson or two in keeping his mouth shut. Don’t get me wrong, I think everyone has the right to their own opinion and that social media is absolutely a place to voice that opinion. But for a family that has already been fired from their television show due to controversial comments, Dillard sure seems to keep biting the hand that feeds, or rather fed, him.

Dillard and his family were fired from Counting On, the 19 Kids and Counting spin-off show, for making derogatory comments towards another one of TLC’s stars. TLC runs a show called I Am Jazz, which follows 17-year-old Jazz Jennings as she lives her life as a transgender teen, transitioning from male to female. The show has been one of TLC’s most viewed shows on the network and is doing incredible work for the LGBTQ community.

However, Dillard is not one of those people on board with the show…or Jazz Jennings at all, for that matter.

TLC

“What an oxymoron… a ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality. ‘Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it’s ordained by God,” Dillard wrote on Twitter in August.

After Jennings tweeted about cyber-bullying, Dillard continued his rampage.

“I pity Jazz, 4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda, including the parents who allow these kinds of decisions 2 be made by a child.

It’s sad that ppl would use a juvenile this way.

Again, nothing against him, just unfortunate what’s on TV these days.”

Dillard claims he “never bullied anyone” and “just said [he] didn’t agree with what is being propagated on TV.”

TLC wasn’t buying it, however. The network almost immediately fired the family from Counting On, citing Dillard’s comments as the reason.

“We want to let our viewers know that Derick Dillard has not participated in Counting On for months and the network has no plans to feature him in the future.

We want to reiterate that Derick’s personal statements do not reflect the views of the network.

TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so.”

While the family stayed fairly silent on the topic, it now seems like Dillard has some choice words for the network.

New Bullying Law Has Some Parents Up In Arms, But A Victim’s Family Say It’s Long Overdue

A bill in New York state is attracting attention nationwide, as parents pick sides in a heated debate about bullying.

The question at the heart of the case is whether parents have a right to know their children are being bullied, and a new bill says they do.

Called “Jacobe’s Law,” the bill requires New York schools to inform parents if their child is being picked on, harassed, or discriminated against.

And it’s inspired by one particularly tragic case.

Jacobe Taras.Richard Taras / AP

The law is named for Jacobe Taras, a 13-year-old boy from Moreau, New York who was a target for his school’s bullies.

Jacobe’s parents, Richard and Christine, say they had no idea their son was a victim of bullying until it was too late to help him.

Their son tragically took his own life in 2015, but not before leaving a heartbreaking suicide note.

“Dear Mom and Dad,” it began, “I’m sorry but I can not live anymore.”

Jacobe went on to describe being called names, “pushed, punched, tripped,” and told to kill himself by other students at his school.

“Jacobe was the kindest soul you could meet, with extremely good manners, empathy and people skills,” his father told The Associated Press.

“For someone like that to decide to take his own life, it’s hard on so many levels. You feel like you didn’t protect them.”

The Taras’s say they knew their child was being picked on, but not the whole truth about his trouble at school.

Now, they’re championing a new law to protect other children. But some parents don’t approve.

Anna Nicole Smith’s Mother “Heartbroken” Over Granddaughter Dannielynn

Anna Nicole Smith was a troubled, beautiful, influential star. She was most well-known for her Playboy and Guess modelling gigs, and later had her own reality show. Smith rose to fame when she married 89-year-old oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II. The starlet was just 26 at the time.

This wasn’t her first marriage, however. At just 17 years old, the young teen married Billy Smith and gave birth to their son, Daniel. Anna and Daniel were extremely close, and they were both excited to welcome Anna’s second child on September 7th, 2006. Dannielynn was welcomed into a loving family.

Immediately, there was controversy surrounding the identity of the new baby’s father. Anna’s ex-boyfriend, Larry Birkhead claimed paternity. Anna stated that her attorney, Howard K. Stern, was Dannielynn’s father. He was the one listed on her birth certificate, and he and Anna  held a private “commitment ceremony” which was not legally binding.

During the controversy of Dannielynn’s paternity, Anna was struck with tragedy.

On September 10th, 2006, Daniel died of an apparent drug overdose at only 20 years old. Anna was inconsolable, and while she was grieving she was caught in a media frenzy surrounding the identity of her newborn baby’s father.

Anna Nicole Smith, along with her son, Daniel, and new daughter, DannielynnABC News

On February 8, 2007, Anna Nicole Smith was found dead in her hotel room. The cause of death was announced as an accidental overdose, as Anna was on nine different types of medication at the time. Smith’s death only heightened the search for Dannielynn’s father, as that person would be taking full custody of the child.

In April 2007, it was determined that photographer Larry Birkhead was indeed Dannielynn’s father. Howard K. Stern did not contest the findings, and legal custody was given to Birkhead. Birkhead, who makes a living through photography and occasionally real estate, took on the role of full-time dad with open arms, and chose to keep Dannielynn’s life out of the spotlight. The occasional picture surfaces, but for the most part it’s all private.

But according to Anna Nicole Smith’s side of the family, it’s more private than they’d like.

A Stranger Bought This Homeless Man A Burger, Then Police Kicked Them Both Out Of The Restaurant

Here at Shared, we work really hard to remind everyone that the world is a lot nicer than we think.

But some stories just make me shake my head and ask, “What is happening to us?”

Sadly, this is one of those stories.

It comes courtesy of a man named Yossi Gallo, from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Gallo was only trying to be a good Samaritan for someone down on their luck in his own community.

But he wound up recording a very upsetting encounter with local police that is going viral around the world.

Yossi Gallo and the homeless man he bought a meal for.The Sun News / Yossi Gallo – Facebook

Gallo was in downtown Myrtle Beach when he says he bumped into a homeless man across the street from a McDonald’s.

He asked the man if he was hungry, he said yes, and Gallo offered to buy him a meal inside the restaurant.

So far so good.

But when Gallo and the homeless man walked into the McDonald’s, Gallo says the cashier told the man, “You’re not getting food.”

Soon police had arrived, and they later said they were called because a homeless man was asking for money in the restaurant’s parking lot.

Gallo pulled out his phone and started recording as a police officer told the homeless man to finish his meal, leave, and never come back.

Yossi said he couldn’t believe what was happening in front of him, which is why he taped and shared the encounter on Facebook, where it has been viewed more than 60 million times.

“You guys suck,” Gallo says in the video. “He didn’t even ask me for food. I brought him in from outside. I’ll never be back here again.”

But the restaurant’s owner and local police tell a very different story.

Farrah Abraham Has Been Replaced On “Teen Mom,” And She’s Got Something To Say About It

You’ve probably heard of Farrah Abraham, who appeared on 16 & Pregnant as well as Teen Mom. She got pregnant at 16 and was left as a single mom when the father of her baby was tragically killed in a car accident. Farrah gave birth to her daughter, Sophia, and that’s kind of where things started to get messy for her.

Farrah immediately garnered a reputation as a diva. She constantly screamed at her parents when they were trying to help her, and she seemed to think her personal life was more important than her parenting life. As years moved forward, Farrah tried to stay in the spotlight not just on Teen Mom, but all over Hollywood. She began undergoing plastic surgery and drastically changed her appearance.

MTV

Farrah also dipped her toes in the world of adult entertainment. She was paid $10,000 for her sex tape, called Back Door Teen Mom, although she claims it was $1,000,000. Her decision to do porn was a point of contention among other cast members, with fan-favorite Maci Bookout threatening to leave the show if Farrah was invited back.

After a few seasons of tension between the cast members, Farrah was finally fired from Teen Mom, and now she’s suing Viacom, who owns MTV, for “porn shaming” her.

“You choose to work in the adult industry, we can’t continue to film…” producer Morgan J. Freeman told Farrah on an episode of Teen Mom.

“Who are you to tell someone to chose one thing?” she fired back. “Shoot me for being who I am.”

Farrah took to social media about the network’s decision.

“Sad such a phenomenal show will no longer have its biggest talent on the show because of women hating, sex shaming, hate crimes, selfish, Weinstein company power trip behaviors against a professional hard working, honest mother,” Farrah said in her blast.

Now, a replacement for the outspoken reality star has been named, and of course, Farrah has something to say about it.

Mike Pence Blasts “The View” Co-Host For Calling His Faith A “Mental Illness”

Mike Pence, the vice president of the United States, has always been proud to put his faith on display. A born-again evangelical Christian, Pence previously explained that he gave his life to Jesus Christ and “that’s changed everything.”

It is his strong faith that also shaped the decisions he made as an adult as well as political stance on a number of issues like abortion.

“I sign this law with a prayer that God would continue to bless these precious children, mothers and families,” Pence said as he signed an abortion bill that makes it illegal for a woman to abort a fetus because it has a disability like Down syndrome.

Recently, former White House political aide Omarosa Manigault revealed more about Pence’s “extreme” beliefs on the reality show Big Brother. She told her roommates that Pence “thinks Jesus tells him to say things” and even as a Christian, she finds that “scary.”

Reuters

As soon as this information leaked, the media used it to attack Pence’s religious convictions. The View co-host Joy Behar was among them.

On a recent episode of the daytime talk show, Behar made some controversial remarks when discussing Manigault’s revelation about Pence.

“It’s one thing to talk to Jesus. It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you,” the comedian said. “That’s called mental illness if I’m not correct. Hearing voices.”

Behar’s mocking comments did not bode well with many Christians, and according to watchdog group Media Research Center, ABC has since received more than 25,000 calls from people who had complaints about Behar’s segment.

“Make no mistake, the slurs against the vice president’s faith insult millions of Christians and are unacceptable. If there are no on-air apologies after this deplorable episode, Christians will tune out ABC programming across the board. And we will do our best to encourage it,” MRC President Brent Bozell wrote in an open letter.

He threatened to reach out to advertisers of The View if an on-air apology isn’t issued to Christians across the nation.

Now, Pence himself is firing back at Behar for her insensitive statement.

McDonald’s Removing Iconic Happy Meal Items

McDonald’s has been making a push to provide a healthier menu for their customers for some time now. With the addition of salads, wraps, and more chicken options, the iconic chain restaurant is slowly but surely making their food choices a little more calorie-friendly.

The Golden Arches are also planning on encouraging kids to read, after facing backlash for promoting their Happy Meals with toys…because apparently that was an issue. The company is planning on offering books as replacements for kids who would rather that than a toy. Coupled with healthier choices, it seems like McDonald’s is trying to become a more family-oriented restaurant.

The Spruce

However, as many will point out, if you’re going to McDonald’s then you’re probably not worried about the calories you’re consuming. Growing up, going to McDonald’s was an absolute treat. My parents made it clear that fast food was not our best option for nutritious food, but that meant that when we did go to McDonald’s, it was even more special.

My favorite treat was the cheeseburger Happy Meal. I felt so grown up, don’t ask me why, to be eating a cheeseburger. I mean COME ON! That’s definitely adult food right there.

But unfortunately for my inner child, McDonald’s is making some changes to their Happy Meal menu, and it’s seeing two fan-favorite items taken completely off the menu. But don’t worry, there’s a way around it.

Parent Furious Over School Forcing Her Daughter To Say “Yes” To Boys

The issue of personal autonomy for women is a big one.

Despite many strides that have been made over the years that allow women to be independent, confident, and above all else, safe, we still have a long way to go when it comes to fixing a lot of issues surrounding the subject.

Disjointed Thinking

As more and more people are accused of sexually predatory behaviors towards women in multiple industries, the concept of consent is more relevant than ever.

Many people are insisting that we should be teaching our new generations about the importance of consent as early as childhood, not only so that girls know how to avoid dangerous situations, but also so that boys know how to understand where lines are drawn.

Youtube

Unfortunately, it appears some places still don’t entirely seem to grasp the concept, and the results can often be jarring, if not outright revolting. Case and point: a Utah mom is taking her daughter’s elementary school to task over their rules regarding a school dance…

Church Group Doesn’t Leave A Tip, Then The Server Gets Fired

If you’ve ever worked as a server or anyone else who depends on tips to supplement your wages, then you know how frustrating it can be when customers either under tip or don’t tip at all. Servers make less than minimum wage with the assumption that their tips will make up the difference, but Tamlynn Yoder will tell you this isn’t always the case.

Yoder, a 25-year-old resident of Lake Park, Florida, learned the hard way that tipping isn’t guaranteed, but that you can’t just go off about it. Yoder worked at an Outback Steakouse when an order came in from Christ Fellowship church. The church ordered 25 steaks, 25 chickens, and 25 potatoes on a Wednesday morning for pickup.

“We take the order over the phone, we put the order together, take payment and then take order to the car,” Yoder said. “It’s a lot of work just as much as serving.”

The takeout order totaled $735, and when someone from Christ Fellowship came to pick up the order, that’s exactly how much money Yoder and her coworkers received. No tip was left, despite spending most of the day preparing the 75-item order. Yoder says she only ended up with $18 in tips for the entire day because Christ Fellowship placed such a large order and didn’t leave a gratuity.

“Tips [are] how we make our money, we still make a low wage as servers,” Yoder said.

But even though it’s not her fault that the church didn’t leave a tip, Yoder was still fired from her position at Outback the next day. That’s because it wasn’t the lack of tip that got the server fired, it was her complaints about it.

L.L. Bean Is Changing Their 100-Year-Old Policy, And It Affects Every Customer

L.L. Bean is perhaps most well-known for their 100% satisfaction guaranteed return policy, which allows customers to return any and all products from L.L. Bean, regardless of how long they’ve had it or how damaged it was. The policy was originated by Leon Leonwood Bean, who saw 90 of his first 100 pairs of boots returned to his store. He gave each customer their money back and vowed to make a better boot.

This policy has been in place for 106 years, but now the company has made some serious changes to it.

Kim Kardashian Posts “Inappropriate” Picture Taken By Her 4-Year-Old Daughter, And It’s Sparked An Interesting Debate

Teaching your kids about body positivity is always important. As they grow up, they are bombarded with images about what is “perfect” and how people “should” look. For people that grow up in Hollywood, this is only heightened.

Many celebrities are beginning to speak out about being body positive, and it’s sparked a trend. Alicia Keys has vowed to not wear makeup anymore and only go with natural beauty on red carpets. Kelly Clarkson has also spoken out about how being pressured to stay thin was something she struggled with when starting out. The American Idol winner revealed that she contemplated suicide at the height of her fame.

“When I was really skinny, I wanted to kill myself,” Clarkson said. “I was miserable, like, inside and out, for four years of my life. But, no one cared, because aesthetically you make sense.”

But one family who constantly talks about positivity is the Kardashians. Regardless of how you feel about them, the famous family is constantly talking about positive messages being sent about beauty and beauty standards.

Kim Kardashian-West has been known to post nude and semi-nude shots on her social media accounts, and often gets criticized for her choice. However, the mom of three doesn’t understand the issue.

“In all seriousness, I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives,” she wrote. “I don’t do drugs, I hardly drink, I’ve never committed a crime—and yet I’m a bad role model for being proud of my body?”

Kim’s not wrong. Posting images she feels confident in is absolutely her choice and if you don’t like them, stop following her. It’s not like she’s a children’s icon who is being looked up to. People frequenting her Instagram page should be aware of the content that will be posted, it’s not new.

However, Kim’s most recent Instagram post raised some eyebrows when they realized who was in it.

13 Outrageous Olympic Moments That Made History For All The Wrong Reasons

The Olympic Games are the world’s biggest sporting event, and that means two things: they feature the world’s best athletes competing on the highest stage, and something is bound to go wrong. Really wrong.

The cameras were rolling when these 13 downright weird events stunned the world. Which is good, because otherwise we wouldn’t believe they happened at all.

Gymnastic fans who tuned in to the 2000 Summer Games in Sydney, Australia were stunned to watch one competitor after another miss their vaults.

Australian gymnast Allana Slater was the first person to spot the problem: the vault block was five centimeters too short, which had a huge impact on the jumps. The block was reset, but many competitors were too shaken by their falls to recover.

Ethiopian marathon runner Abebe Bikila has two claims to fame: he’s incredibly fast, and he has really tough feet. When he couldn’t find a pair of running shoes that suited him, Bikila ran the 1960 marathon in Rome barefoot.

And – of course – he won and set an Olympic Record. He’s just lucky there weren’t any Lego pieces along the race track.

Doves, the universal symbol for peace, have always been an important part of Olympic opening ceremonies. But live doves haven’t been used since the Seoul games in 1988. The plan was for the doves to fly off from the Olympic torch during its lighting, but many of the poor birds were roasted alive instead.

12 Super Bowl Controversies We’re Still Talking About Years Later

This year, Justin Timberlake made a triumphant return to America’s biggest stage with a Super Bowl performance that was (almost) scandal-free.

But of course, we remember that the last time the singer appeared at the Super Bowl things didn’t go so smoothly. Let’s revisit the classic wardrobe malfunction, and 11 other times controversy struck the big game.

Another unbelievable but true story from Super Bowl I: Green Bay’s backup receiver, Max McGee, spent the night before the game at the bar. “I hope you don’t get hurt. I’m not in very good shape,” he told starting receiver Boyd Dowler before the game.

Of course, Dowler was injured in the second play, and a severely hungover McGee had to play in his place. Thankfully this Super Bowl “fail” had a happy ending: he had seven receptions and scored two touchdowns to help Green bay win the game.

7 Biggest TLC Scandals The Network Has Somehow Survived

Remember when TLC showed educational content? It literally stands for “The Learning Channel” but none of the stuff they show anymore could qualify as educational, though it is entertaining.

It’s a miracle that this network has survived so many scandals, and these are just some of the biggest ones in recent history. We’ll start small and work our way up to the biggest ones.

Derick Dillard, husband of Jill Duggar, has always been a little out there. He and his future wife broke one of the biggest Duggar rules, no front hugging, when they first met each other, which should have been a warning sign that bad things were on their way.

Instagram

Dillard, who is a former accountant, first made waves when he and Jill lied to their fans about their missionary work. Jill’s education as a midwife wasn’t enough to stop their application to the International Mission Board from getting rejected.

According to the Southern Baptist Convention, the church through which the couple applied for the missionary position, the following requirements need to be met:

“Must complete at least 12 college credit hours comprising three hours each of new testament survey, old testament survey, biblical or systematic theology, as well as elective courses in general ministry.”

Derick only has an undergraduate in accounting, and Jill has no post-secondary education at all. Fans took this as misleading, seeing as the couple spent the better part of a year in El Salvador claiming to do missionary work, even asking for money to help support them.

Instagram

But it was Dillard’s comments on TLC’s transgendered star, Jazz Jennings, that got him and his wife fired from the network. Jennings, who identifies as a girl but was born a boy, is only 17 years old.

“What an oxymoron… a ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality. ‘Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it’s ordained by God,” Derick wrote on Twitter in August.

After Jennings tweeted about cyber-bullying, Derick continued his rampage.

I pity Jazz, 4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda, including the parents who allow these kinds of decisions 2 be made by a child.

It’s sad that ppl would use a juvenile this way.

Again, nothing against him, just unfortunate what’s on TV these days.”

Dillard claims he “never bullied anyone” and “just said [he] didn’t agree with what is being propagated on TV.”

Jennings, who is 11 years younger than Dillard, chose to take the high road in the whole situation.

“In the face of constant ignorance and hatred I prefer to disregard negative opinions and continue moving forward with love,” she wrote on Twitter.

Dillard and his wife were then fired from their family’s TV show, Counting On.

Then, of course, there’s the Gosselins.

The Dark Truth About Elvis Presley’s Controversial Manager

Elvis Presley is known as the King of Rock and Roll, but in order to get that title he had to work hard. For his entire career, there was one man by his side, pushing him to do more and helping him achieve a level of fame that was unheard of at the time. However, that man is probably one of the most controversial characters in history.

Colonel Tom Parker signed on as Presley’s manager in 1956. Ever since, the mystery surrounding him has everyone wondering what the truth is. With so much controversy spanning so many years, it’s a lot to break down, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Let’s get started with the truth about where he came from.

Colonel Tom Andrew Parker claimed to have been born in Huntington, West Virginia. He said he worked with carnivals, helping out with elephants and even managed a palm-reading booth, before he realized his talents as a music promoter.

The problem was, if anyone had ever bothered to look into his past, they would find that there was no Tom Parker from West Virginia.

Parker hadn’t even been a Colonel in any military! While he had served in the U.S. Army, he never made it past the rank of private, and was actually released from the army after being diagnosed as a psychopath following a “psychotic breakdown” in the 1930s. When the draft of World War II came around, he allegedly ate so much that he ballooned up to 300 pounds so he would be considered unfit for service.

However the truth about his identity didn’t come out until after Presley’s death. The Colonel made it well into retirement before anyone realized that Parker wasn’t who he claimed to be.

It turned out that “Colonel Tom Parker” was actually not born in West Virgina, but actually was Andreas van Kuijk, born in the Netherlands.

It’s suspected that the Colonel was an illegal immigrant, and worked for a travelling carnival when he first arrived in the country.

However the rumors of his criminal past are even more terrifying than his secret identity…

Mom Facing Criticism For Charging Her 5-Year-Old Daughter “Rent”

How old were you when you moved out of your parents’s house? I was 18 years old when I moved away to university. I lived in residence for a year and then got my own apartment. It was a big of learning curve, because I was so used to having everything done for me. But the biggest issue I ran into was money. I never realize how much everything cost and had no concept of a legitimate savings plan.

Now of course, my parents tried to tell me to save and that I’d need money in the future, but it just never stuck with me. “Why would I not spend the money I have right now so that I can spend it in the future?” It didn’t make sense.

One mother in Georgia decided to teach her daughter about rent and expenses in an interesting way, and by all accounts it’s a decent idea, but there’s one thing that people have an issue with: she’s 5.
