Classic Film Star Gina Lollobrigida Remembers What Hollywood Was Really Like In Tell-All Interview

After we lost so many brilliant stars last year, it’s nice to remember the icons from the past who are still here to celebrate.

At 90 years young, the talented actress Gina Lollobrigida is still with us, and sharing new, exciting stories about her experiences in Hollywood’s “Golden Age.”

Lollobrigida, known to her fans simply as “La Lollo,” is one of the few actresses who made the jump from stardom in Italy to success here in America. She had leading parts in hit films like Come September, starring Rock Hudson, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame

That was thanks to Howard Hughes, the billionaire tycoon and film director who, according to the actress herself, was a little obsessed with Lollobrigida.

“It was he who brought me to America,” she said in a new interview about her career, “but I don’t care about money. I care about my work and the ability to express myself. He wanted to marry me and he didn’t stop courting me for 12 years. “

“I think he was in love with me,” she remembers, “because I was different from the other stars.”

And those differences made her a hit with American audiences, who often ranked her among Hollywood’s most beautiful actresses.

Even her thick Italian accent turned out to be an asset in her acting career, as her costar Humphrey Bogart once told the actress.

“Don’t study so much English!” he warned. “If you lose your accent, it will be a pity.”

Of course, she still has it decades later, as the star remembers intimate details about life – and her love life – among Hollywood’s biggest names.

And that includes personal details about Marilyn Monroe and Jackie Kennedy Onassis.

Notorious Hollywood Detective Says The Truth About Michael Jackson Is Worse Than Anyone Knows

A private detective serving time behind bars for his own crimes said he knows the truth about Michael Jackson in a rare jailhouse interview.

Private eye Anthony Pellicano developed a reputation as one of Hollywood’s toughest “fixers” – someone who takes care of messy or unsavory problems for their clients – before he was sentenced to 15 years in jail for crimes including wiretapping.

His long list of famous clients includes musicians and actors like Elizabeth Taylor, Tom Cruise, Sylvester Stallone, Roseanne Barr, and Courtney Love.

There are even rumors that Pellicano worked for both President Donald Trump and the Clintons, but he won’t confirm or deny them.

While he allegedly helped his famous clients get out of trouble, Pellicano was sent to prison himself in 2008.

Authorities found more than 150,000 pages of illegal recordings in his possession, along with explosives.

In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Pellicano insisted he could have “saved myself, or at least done less time, if I had even slightly co-operated with the government.”

Pellicano refused, insisting that snitches were “worse than child molesters.”

But while Pellicano remains uptight about almost all of his famous clients, there was one celebrity he wasn’t afraid to talk about.

Michael Jackson with Jordan Chandler.Rex

The disgraced detective was allegedly hired by singer Michael Jackson, when the “King of Pop” was facing accusations of child molestation in the ’90s.

What Pellicano revealed about Jackson in the interview has many people seeing the famous case in a new light.

The allegations against Jackson came from dentist Evan Chandler and his son Jordan.

Jordan was one of the many children who visited Jackson at his Neverland Ranch estate, and he even traveled with Jackson on his Dangerous world tour.

Jackson eventually settled out of court with the Chandler family, but a laundry list of other accusers followed suit.

To this day, both the LA County Police Department and California’s Department of Children and family services say they never found any evidence of child abuse by the singer.

But the normally tight-lipped Pellicano hinted that he knew the real truth about Jackson’s case.

Reese Witherspoon Reveals How She Escaped An Abusive Relationship

TV host Oprah Winfrey is known for creating emotional moments with her guests, and things got serious when actress Reese Witherspoon opened up to her about an abusive relationship from her past.

Witherspoon and actress Mindy Kaling both appeared on Winfrey’s Super Soul Sunday for an interview which will appear in the next issue of O magazine.

The three women are costars in the new fantasy film A Wrinkle in Time, but their discussion took a very real turn when Winfrey asked her guests, “What’s the most difficult decision you’ve had to make to fulfill your destiny?”

Witherspoon revealed she had been in an abusive relationship – without naming her abuser – and said that choosing to leave that relationship changed her life forever.

The Legally Blonde star explained that she had been the victim of verbal and psychological abuse, and choosing to leave the relationship made her a stronger person.

“I could never be the person I am today. … It changed who I was on a cellular level, the fact that I stood up for myself,” she told the host, adding that since leaving the relationship she’s changed completely.

Witherspoon said leaving the relationship “changed who I was on a cellular level.”OWN

“People say to me that knew me then, ‘You’re a completely different person.’ I didn’t have self-esteem. I’m a different person now and it’s part of the reason I can stand up and say, ‘Yes, I’m ambitious’ — because someone tried to take that from me before.”

Witherspoon explained what finally pushed her to end the relationship, and after her dramatic confession the host shared her own experience with an abusive partner.

Kim Kardashian Lashes Out At Khloe’s Ex After Rude Revealing Interview

For the past few years, Khloe Kardashian has been through a lot, such as struggles with her body weight, and a tumultuous relationship with her ex-husband Lamar Odom.

Eventually Khloe began working on her fitness and divorced Odom – which was temperately put on hold after he had a drug overdose at a Las Vegas brothel.

Now, the reality star has found happiness with her basketball playing boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, and is expecting her first child in March.

While she’s moved on with her life, and has furthered her brand (with TV show Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian, and other business ventures), there are some people who are still living in the past.

Kelly Clarkson Weighed In On Spanking, And Kicked Off A Huge Debate

As if raising your kids wasn’t enough, celebrities have to look after their children and make the right choices in front of all their fans.

That can lead to a lot of mommy-shaming over some pretty innocent choices, and some stars have taken to social media asking their fans to think before they criticize other moms online.

But Kelly Clarkson really kicked the hornet’s nest this week when she weighed in on one of parenting’s most controversial subjects: spanking.

In the past, the “Since You’ve Been Gone” singer has taken flack from her social media followers for just about everything. Even feeding her daughter River Rose a Nutella sandwich drew accusations of “child abuse” from angry moms.

But spanking is one of America’s biggest hot button topics. While many parents still swear by spanking to get rowdy kids in line, studies have demonstrated that it’s not effective, and can even permanently increase a child’s anti-social tendencies.

In a new interview with, Clarkson reveals she’s definitely pro-spanking, and her comments about disciplining her children have everyone talking.

The Queen Opens Up About Her Coronation In Rare Public Interview

You never know where Queen Elizabeth II will make a surprise appearance next. Even now, the 91-year-old royal is continuing to do things that she normally wouldn’t, which keeps us on our toes.

Through her six-decade rein, The Queen has rarely spoken candidly on camera, which makes times like these all the more powerful.

In the new documentary The Coronation, Queen Elizabeth II makes a surprise appearance when she discusses her coronation in 1953, as well as the dazzling crown she wore on that day.

The film uses rare footage and explores the history behind the famous crown that the Queen has only worn once in her life.

Including 23,000 precious stones, the original St. Edward’s Crown was destroyed after the English Civil War, but was remade for the Coronation of Charles II in 1661. Weighing a whopping 4 pounds, Queen Elizabeth II only wore the precious piece for a brief time during her coronation, before switching to a lighter crown.

She also goes on to speak about the 1937 coronation of her father King George VI, when she was just 11-years-old.

“I’ve seen one coronation, and been the recipient in the other, which is pretty remarkable,” says the royal great-grandmother.

Tonya Harding Talks “Truth and Lies” In New Emotional Interview

It’s been 23 years since the “whack around the world” took place on January 6, 1994, seven weeks before the Olympic Winter Games were scheduled to begin, but the world can’t seem to look past it.

On that fateful day, a hitman attacked figure skater Nancy Kerrigan with a police baton in an attempt to debilitate her. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the assailant was hired by a man named Jeff Gillooly, who happened to be the ex-husband of Kerrigan’s rival, Tonya Harding.

It didn’t take long for the public to start speculating about Harding’s involvement. Harding claimed that she had no idea that Gillooly and her bodyguard, Shawn Eckhart, were planning an attack on her teammate. She said that they didn’t do it to take Kerrigan out of the competition, but rather to punish her for taking the USFA’s advice and rekindling her doomed relationship with Gillooly for publicity.

Harding was later charged for hindering apprehension and she ended up pleaded guilty. She was placed on a three-year probation plus 500 hours of community service. She also received a $100,000 fine, and was banned from the USFA for life.

Once the frenzy died down, Kerrigan and Harding had to return back to their normal lives. While Kerrigan’s career continued to thrive, Tonya’s reputation was ruined and she was forced out of the limelight.

It took a few years for her to slowly bounce back, she gave a few interviews, including a joint one with Kerrigan, penned a book about her side of the story, tried her hand at boxing, and even appeared on a documentary in the early 2000s.

More recently, the disgraced skater is back in the spotlight thanks to a new critically acclaimed biopic about her life. Starring Margot Robbie, I, Tonya, re-tells the story from Harding’s perspective. Margot even received a Golden Globe nomination for her portrayal of Harding.

Harding even made an official public appearance for the first time in years at the Los Angeles premiere of the film on December 5th. Now, she’s been given the chance to sit down and reflect about the infamous incident in an emotional two-hour ABC “Truth and Lies” special.

Fran Drescher Finally Opens Up About Her 2-Year Cancer Battle

She had style, she had flair, she was on our favorite TV show, then she seemed to vanish from Hollywood.

It turns out part of the reason for Fran Drescher’s sudden disappearance from public life was a years-long cancer battle, and the actress is opening up about her experience with the disease.

Drescher rose to fame as the star of The Nanny, then left  TV when the show ended in 1999.

She returned for a new show, Living With Fran, in 2005. But Drescher’s biggest fans wondered what had happened to the sitcom star in-between those projects.

Drescher reveals that she had a close call in 2000, after being diagnosed with uterine cancer. While she received treatment soon after, Drescher says she struggled to get the right diagnosis for years.

“I went down this two-year, eight-doctor odyssey, to get a proper diagnosis of uterine cancer,” she explains. “I kept slipping through the cracks.” While the symptoms were there from the start, none of her doctors recognized them. Her first doctor even told her she was too young for uterine cancer.

Drescher says her doctors were thinking, “‘If you hear galloping, don’t look for a zebra because it’s probably a horse,’ yet if you happen to be a zebra like I was, you’re going to slip through the cracks.”

Once she finally got the right diagnosis, Drescher needed emergency surgery.

Priscilla Presley Finally Opens Up About Loving And Losing Elvis

They were music’s most famous couple, but after they famously divorced in 1973, Priscilla Presley has been very guarded about her relationship with “The King.”

But now, at age 72, Priscilla says that she wants to “just tell it like it is,” and is talking candidly about loving and losing Elvis Presley. “Over 800 books have been written about Elvis,” she pointed out at an event called Elvis and Me: An Evening With Priscilla Presley, but only she knew “how much misinformation is out there.”

“Either it’s been altered, they’re lies [or] they’re somebody else’s perception,” she says about most Elvis biographies. Now she wants to tell her side of the story.

It starts in 1959, when Elvis was a sergeant in the Army, stationed at the same base as Priscilla’s father, an Air Force officer. Priscilla was just a teenager when she met the singer (Elvis was 10 years older than her) but they quickly started a courtship that lasted for years.

Priscilla reveals that her parents were wary of Elvis at first. “Absolutely not!” her mother replied, after Priscilla asked to go to a party with the singer. “I won’t let you walk across the street to see Elvis Presley!”  Her father was just as stubborn, until Elvis walked into their home “in full uniform” and won him over in minutes.

But Priscilla also revealed the trials she faced as Elvis’ bride, including death threats.

In the days after the shooting, survivors shared stories of heroes who rescued them from certain death. One of the people recognized for helping to prevent further bloodshed was Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos. He confronted Paddock moments after he opened fire, and helped bring police to his hotel room.

In an emotional interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Campos described the moment he confronted the shooter:

But Jason Aldean, the country star who was performing on stage when Paddock opened fire on the crowd, has avoided discussing the shooting over the past six weeks. While he’s shared his feelings through social media posts and played at benefit concerts for the shooting victims, he hasn’t given an interview about his experience during the attack. Until now.

Mary Jo Buttafuoco Reveals Her True Feelings Towards Amy Fisher

It’s been twenty-five years since Mary Jo Buttafuoco was shot in the face by her husband’s 17-year-old mistress, Amy “The Long Island Lolita” Fisher, on the porch of her home in Massapequa, New York.

Mary Jo ButtafuocoPeople

Miraculously, Buttafuoco survived the attack, and a few months later, Fisher pleaded guilty to first degree assault, a felony which put her behind bars for seven years.

The media frenzy surrounding the women helped turn them into household names. Their story even inspired three movies: Lethal Lolita (Amy Fisher: My Story), Casualties of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story starring Alyssa Milano and The Amy Fisher Story starring Drew Barrymore.

Upon her release in 1999, Fisher apologized to Buttafuoco in court and took full responsibility for what transpired that fateful day in May, 1992.

“What happened to you, it wasn’t your husband’s fault … it was my fault, and I’m sorry,” Fisher told Buttafuoco.

Amy FisherNewsday

But no amount of apologies, fame or money could make up for what Buttafuoco went through. The gunshot left her face partially paralyzed, and rendered her deaf in one ear. It wasn’t until recently that doctors were able to repair her facial paralysis.

“It’s the first time in 25 years that when I smile, I can see the side of my teeth,” Buttafuoco told Inside Edition.

Now, several weeks after Buttafuco’s interview with Inside Edition, she has once again opened up. Buttafuoco appeared on a recent episode of Dr. Oz and she didn’t hold back on her feelings towards Fisher.

There were many speculations as to why he stopped acting, but now Clooney himself is clearing up the rumors and explaining why he isn’t taking on any new roles.

Selena Gomez Opens Up About Undergoing Second Surgery After Transplant Complications

In early September, singer Selena Gomez revealed in an Instagram post that she had undergone a kidney transplant over the summer, putting rumors about her sudden public disappearance to rest.

The former Disney star wrote that the surgery was needed to improve her overall health as she battled lupus, a debilitating autoimmune disease that affects around 1.5 million Americans.

“So I found out I needed to get a kidney transplant due to my Lupus and was recovering. It was what I needed to do for my overall health,” the singer wrote.

She also revealed that her best friend, actress Francia Raisa, was the one who donated the kidney.

“…There aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful best friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis,” Gomez continued.

Gomez shared some photos of her post-surgery scars, but reassured her fans that she was recovering well and will be sharing more updates in the near future.

“I honestly look forward to sharing with you, soon my journey through these past several months as I have always wanted to do with you,” she added to the note. “Until then I want to publicly thank my family and incredible team of doctors for everything they have done for me prior to and post-surgery.”

Casey Anthony’s Father Claims To Have Seen Dead Granddaughter In Their House

In June 2008, 2-year-old Caylee Anthony went missing from the house she shared with her mother, Casey, and her grandparents, George and Cindy, outside of Orlando, Florida.

Shortly after the toddler’s disappearance was announced, strange details began to emerge. For starters, Cindy didn’t report Caylee’s disappearance for over a month after she vanished.

As more information about the case became available, it was clear that Casey wasn’t as distressed as a missing child’s parent would be. In fact, her Facebook photos showed her to have been partying and going on shopping sprees with a friend’s stolen checkbook while her daughter was gone.

Know Your Meme

Law enforcement spent months searching for the little girl, and on December 11, 2008 they found remains a few hundred feet from the Anthony’s residence. Soon after, the remains were identified as Caylee’s.

Casey was charged with murdering her daughter, and her trial was broadcast across the nation. Her attorneys tried to pin the crime on her parents, but that did not stick. At the time, Casey was facing the death penalty.

International Business Times

However, to everyone’s dismay, Casey was acquitted for first degree murder, aggravated child abuse and manslaughter in 2011. Instead, she received minor charges for interfering with the investigation by lying to the police.

Although the legal case has been closed for six years, new information about the Anthonys is often leaked to the public. Casey and her parents have occasionally spoken to the media over the years, but none has raised more brows than a recent interview with Geroge.

The grieving grandfather appeared on an episode of Crime Watch Daily, hosted by Chris Hansen, and claimed that he has seen Caylee in their house since her death.

Security Guard Injured Trying To Stop Las Vegas Shooting Breaks His Silence On Ellen

After the tragic mass shooting in Las Vegas earlier this month, stories of heroism have slowly trickled out through the media.

But one of the people at the heart of the event, the security guard who was the first person to confront the shooter Stephen Paddock, has stayed out of the spotlight since the shooting two weeks ago. Jesus Campos was patrolling the halls of the Mandalay Bay Resort Casino on the night of the shooting.

Police originally said that Campos managed to stop Paddock from firing on the crowd, then changed their story to say that Campos confronted and was shot by Paddock minutes before the shooting. The security guard was expected to clarify what happened that night on a series of TV interviews last week, but he canceled them at the last minute.

It seems that the man many are calling a hero needed time out of the spotlight to reflect on that night and recover. As he told Ellen Degeneres on his first TV since the shooting, Campos is “doing better each day, slowly but surely. Just healing mentally and physically.”

And he also revealed details of his dramatic confrontation with Paddock during the interview…

Tammy Wynette’s Daughter Spills Secrets About Her Mother’s Troubled Life, And Being The Target Of A Mysterious Stalker

She’s been gone for nearly 20 years, but Tammy Wynette’s celebrity has barely faded.

The “First Lady of Country Music” may have passed away, but she still has just as many fans as any new singer. Her classic records, including “Stand by Your Man” and “Golden Ring,” are still staples of any country music station, and her tragic and fascinating life story still draws a lot of interest.

Growing up, Wynette lived in a house with no running water. It’s rumored spending her early life living paycheck to paycheck was so difficult that she kept her cosmetology license for the rest of her life, in case her career in the music industry slowed down and she needed to find work.

But even as one of America’s most popular musicians, Wynette’s life was anything but easy. Wynette’s daughter Georgette Jones, 46, has revealed just how much stress her family endured  in a new interview with Fox Radio’s Children of the Song podcast.

“We had death threats and kidnapping threats, our house was set on fire and our house was flooded,” she explains, “You know, a lot of crazy things going on, so I was a very scared young girl. My older sisters luckily had a little bit of a childhood before that happened. And so they were a little more capable I guess of dealing with that.”

One incident was so frightening that Jones claims she’s had to block it out of her mind…

Ivanka Trump Reveals Her Secret Struggle With Postpartum Depression

America’s First Daughter gave the world a painful and honest look at her private life in a new TV interview.

Ivanka Trump, 35, is President Trump‘s daughter, his Special Advisor, and the former vice president of the Trump Organization. On her Instagram account, Ivanka shares the sweet, everyday family moments that go on behind the scenes in the White House. She even captured her youngest son Theodore’s first steps.

Along with one-year-old Theodore, the couple also have a three-year-old son named Joseph and a six-year-old daughter named Arabella.

This week on The Doctor Oz Show, Ivanka let the world see a side of her she usually doesn’t show, revealing that she suffered from postpartum depression after all three of her children’s births.

“It was a very challenging emotional time for me,” she explains, “because I felt like I was not living up to my potential as a parent or as an entrepreneur and executive.”

Ivanka even revealed that she relied on a special treatment for her depression symptoms…
