Time travel, in a sense, actually is possible. Someone would have to be able to travel as fast as the speed of light to travel in time. The amount of energy needed to make that happen is unfathomable.
TV shows like Doctor Who and movies like Interstellar glamorize the science fiction notion, but what if people have actually traveled in time? Isn’t that the only way to explain how some people are able to predict the future?
Here are eight people who may not have traveled to a distant time, but have an extraordinary ability to see beyond today.
Vangelia Pandeva Dimitrova, better known as Baba Vanga, died in 1996, but has left the world with dozens of predictions up until the 51st century, the date she believed the world would end. She lost her vision after being caught in a tornado at the age of 16, and soon after started making some startling predictions about the future.
She successfully predicted 9/11, claiming that “two steel birds” would attack the “American brethren.” She also predicted ISIS, Brexit, and Trump’s presidency.
For 2018, she’s predicted that China will become the world’s next superpower and we’ll find a “new form of energy” on Venus. I can see the former coming true, but I’m pretty skeptical about the latter.
The French author, best known for his book Les Propheties, is renowned for being able to accurately predict countless major future events. He predicted Hitler! How can you predict an individual?!
In one of his books, Nostradamus wrote: “From the depths of the West of Europe, A young child will be born of poor people, He who by his tongue will seduce a great troop; His fame will increase towards the realm of the East.”
That’s not all, he also predicted the atomic bomb, JFK assassination, and a number of natural catastrophes. He predicted that one day earthquakes will split the US in half… Yikes!
The forecast of the future always seems grim when predicted by twins Linda and Terry Jamison. The California-based mediums have claimed to have channeled the spirits of dead celebrities like Princess Diana and Michael Jackson, and predicted major events like the Twin Tower attacks.
They also predicted that Saddam Hussein would be killed by US troops, and that Pope John Paul II would die in 2004, (he died a year later). Although their predictions may not happen on the exact day or year they initially say it will, it’s pretty close.
You’ve probably heard of the last three people before, but these next lesser known people have predicted some major events as well…
